Elvira was shaken awake from my slumber and saw Lucy's bright hazel eyes, filled with excitement.
"Vira! I've been to Narnia again! Come on!" she said. She rubbed her eyes sleepily.
"I am coming," she said and got up, slipping her feet into her slippers and leaving her warm bed. Lucy ran into Peter and Edmund's room, Elvira in tow.
"Peter! Peter! Wake up! It's there, it's really there!" Lucy said, jumping on Peter.
"What are you talking about, Lucy?" Peter said, still practically asleep.
"Narnia! It's all in the wardrobe like I told you!"
"You've just had a dream, Lucy," said Susan, coming into the room.
"But I haven't! It's there! And this time, Edmund went too," Lucy said indignantly. Everyone turned to Edmund, who was standing in the doorway, looking guilty.
"Did you, Edmund?" Elvira asked him.
"I... was just playing along," he said. She sighed and sat down on his bed.
"I'm sorry, Peter. I shouldn't have encouraged her. You know what little kids are like. They just don't know when to stop pretending," he said, more spiteful than ever. Elvira jumped up as Lucy ran out of the room, sobbing. Elvira ran after her, shoving Edmund onto his bed, more forcefully than she meant to. She turned the corner and saw her bump into Digory.
"I'm so sorry, Digory," she said and picked up Lucy, having more strength than the average human. She turned and saw Peter and Susan.
"Take her for some hot chocolate, please, Elvira," the Professor said. Elvira nodded and took her to the kitchen and placed her down. She quickly made a cup of hot chocolate and sat her down.
"Dry your eyes, dear," she said.
"Why does no one believe me?" she hiccuped. She sighed.
"They do not believe because they're thinking logically. If the Professor can help, he might make them think otherwise. Just, I would steer away from the subject for now, especially with Edmund," Elvira said. She nodded.
"I have an idea for getting them into Narnia. Once you finish that, go to sleep. I will help, I promise," she said. She drained the cup and said goodnight. She smiled and watched her go to bed. Elvira instantly got ready.

Everything was ready. The Pevensies were playing cricket and Elvira watched from the window. Edmund hit the ball aggressively and she watched as it went through and window and caused an almighty crash. She grinned and ran to the wardrobe. She walked in, closing it behind her, knowing the Pevensies would leave it a little bit open. She ran in and soon came to the snow-covered Lantern Waste. She transformed and waited for them to come in. In about five minutes they all fell in. Quite literally. They all got up, looking around in shock, Lucy giving them all a sly little grin. She smiled and watched as Peter gave her a sheepish apology. Suddenly Lucy threw a hidden snowball right in Peter's face. Elvira purred in laughter as she watched. She saw Edmund, who was not participating in the game, was looking into the distance. She turned and saw him looking at the Twin Mountains. Elvira gasped. He had met the White Witch. Peter realised that Edmund was lying about not being here before.
"If only we could apologise to Vira too. Lucy, she was here too, wasn't she?" Peter said.
"She was," Elvira said, "And is." Susan screamed and Peter grabbed Lucy and pulled her back. She wriggled out of his grip and ran to Elvira, giving me a strong hug.
"Vira!" she said in delight. She purred and rubbed into her chest. Peter edged forward.
"Vira?" he said. She nodded and gave him a toothy smile. He walked forward, holding out his hand.
