Thirteen.
Jake and I went to his house, and he got Chinese takeout for dinner.
While slurping up his Lo Mein, Jake said, "Let's watch a movie."
We went over to the couch and turned on the TV.
"What do you wanna watch, babe?" He asked.
I blushed at his word choice. We've gone on a few dates, but he's never called me babe before.
"Finding Nemo!" I screamed.
"You're so cute," he said, playing the movie.
He put his arm around me, and I cuddled in.
Halfway through the movie, I looked over to see him falling asleep. He was so cute.
I leaned over and kissed him. He woke up, and kissed me back.
"Do you want some popcorn?" He asked.
"Sure!" I said.
"I'll be right back," he smiled. He kissed me quickly one more time then went into the kitchen.
Suddenly, I got a text from Liam.
Liam: Hey, do you need a ride home tonight?
Me: Sure, thanks so much!
Liam: What time should I pick you up?
Me: 11:30
Liam: Okay
Jake walked back in, holding a big bowl of popcorn.
"Hey, on the way home we have to stop by my cousin's house. He has some shoulder pads I need to borrow," he said.
"Oh, it's ok. Liam's giving me a ride home."
His face tensed up.
"Don't worry babe, he's just a friend. He's like my brother."
"Okay," he said, putting his arms around me. "Now, where were we?"
