"Who are you?"

Those words shocked you. For days you had been by Gray's side, watching him while he was in a coma and waiting for him to wake up. But once he did, you were greeted with this?!

"G-Gray, it's me, (Y/N),"

You wiped a small tear from your eye. Whether from happiness that he woke up, or sadness that he forgot you, you just didn't know what the tear was about.

Gray put on an apologetic face. "Sorry, but I really don't remember you."

"Did you forget everything?!"

He put on a thinking look. "No. I remember everything about everyone, but I just don't recognize you."

No way. You couldn't believe what was happening. What kind of amnesia was this?

Before you could reply, however, the whole guild came into the room and surrounded the two of you. There were loads of cheering coming from around you, but it felt faint, as if you couldn't even hear it.

"Hey, master! Sup, Mira! Your face looks as ugly as usual, ash-face!" Gray replied to everyone, a huge smile on his face.

It was impossible. He really remembered everyone except you?! What kind of sickness does that to someone, and why would you be the only person he would forget?

Tears threatening to pour out of your eyes, you quickly excused yourself and ran out of the room, gaining confused glances from your guildmates.

"Almost forgot, who was that girl who just ran out of the room?" asked Gray from a distance, also gaining confused looks from everyone.

Tears were almost about to pour out of your eyes as you ran towards the park where you and Gray met, and sat on the swing.

Reminiscing in past memories of meeting Gray, you swung on the swings harder than ever before. It was a great feeling to you, just swinging on the swings. It reminded you that this area would always be important to you, even if Gray would never remember it ever again.

Suddenly, loud footsteps approached you and you opened your eyes to see Gray calmly walking toward you. He sat next to you on the swing and sheepishly smiled.

"Um, sorry for making you feel kinda, er, bad."

"It's ok," you replied, even though to you, it was definitely not fine.

Gray stared at you before beginning to speak again. "No, this isn't fine. Our guildmates told me that you were my, well, girlfriend and I don't think boyfriends are supposed to forget about their girlfriends and make them cry and such, you know?"

You stared at Gray wide-eyed. He had never said anything like that before and it just made you want to hug him.

"Thanks, I guess."

"No prob, uhhh, wanna go back to the guild, now?"

You smiled and took his hand. "Let's go!"

The two of you ran off, with Gray in front of you pulling you as you guys ran.

However, because it had been raining in the morning, there were puddles everywhere and Gray accidentally slipped on one, causing the two of you to fall, with you on top of him, your lips on his.

"Ack!" you yelled, getting off of him. "Um, s-sorry about that?"

Gray, however, looked confused as he rubbed his head and sat up. "Um, (Y/N), why are we outside? I thought we were inside the guild picking a fight with our enemies?"

Wide-eyed, you stared at Gray in surprise. "Wait, do you remember me?!"

"Yeah, of course I do. What do you think I have, amnesia?"

Immediately, you tackled Gray and hugged him.

"Y-you're heavy! What's up with this?" Gray exclaimed, clearly confused by the gesture.

You smiled. "It's nothing. Let's just go back to the guild."

Hand in hand, the two of you stood up and quickly ran back to the guild, smiling happily.
