August POV
We had just pulled up to Chandra's house to get the girls. I could tell Keiara was nervous because of how much she talked about them on the ride here. I turned the car off and looked at her.
"You ready?" I asked with a smirk.
She took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
"Yeah. Let's go."
I rolled my eyes and lightly laughed at her, she act like she going see the president or some shit. We opened the doors and walked to the front door. I lifted my hand and knocked on the burgundy door. I straitened up when I heard the locks being unlocked.
"Uncle Aug!" Kay said excitedly.
I picked her up and kissed her cheek.
"Hey babeh'girl." She giggled.
"Kay what did I say about opening the door. That could've been somebody else." Chandra said coming from around the corner.
"I'm sorry mama." She said with her head hung low.
"Just don't do it again aight baby?" Chandra said taking her from me, kissing her head, and then putting her down.
"Yes Ma'am." A smile formed on her lips then she ran off upstairs.
"Come in y'all." Keiara walked in first and then I followed, closing and locking the door behind me. We walked to the living room and sat down.
"Well who is this pretty lady?" She sat down across from us in the recliner.
"I'm Keiara. You have a beautiful home." She extended her hand and smiled.
"Keiara." She hummed . "August has told me a lot about you." She side eyed me and smiled. "It's nice to meet you too honey." She shook Keiara's hand and as if on cue all the girls ran down the stairs.
"Uncle August! Uncle August!" Chay and Miya came and bombarded me.
"Wassup y'all." I hugged and kissed them.
"Where we going today?" Chay asked looking up at me.
"Don't worry about that big head. Just know we gone have a good time." I chuckled.
I looked to my right and saw Keiara with a nervous smile on her face.
"Girls I want y'all to meet somebody, this is Keiara." I smiled as I looked to my right.
"She's pretty uncle Aug." Chay whispered to me.
"Yeah." Miya piped in too.
"Hey guys." She did a little wave and blushed.
"Keiara, this is Chay, Amiya, and Kay." I said pointing to each one of them after I said their name.
"You're really pretty." Kay said walking up to her and touching her hair.
Keiara smiled and blushed. "You are too. All 3 of you are."
"Thanks." The girls said in unison.
"Well," I put the girls down and got up. "Who's ready to go have fun?" The girls all screamed and began cheering. Keiara got up and we all headed towards the door.
"Y'all be good okay?" Chandra bent down and kissed all of them on their foreheads. Kay opened the door and they all ran for the car. I unlocked it and made sure they all got in before turning back around to Keiara and Chandra.
"It was nice meeting you Keiara." Chan smiled.
"You too." Keiara said.
"I shod have the girls back later. If not then I'll let them sleep with me, they still have clothes and stuff from last time." I said
