Keith POV
As I was driving inside the car it was deadly silent the only sound was the faint sound of the radio playing. I cleared my throat indicating I was about to speak.
"So um, before we get there I just wanna tell you you don't have to do anything you don't wanna do like smoke or drink." I could see her turn and look at me with a smile.
"Thanks, but I need a good drink and blunt. I've been so tensed lately. There's so much stuff going on in my life. . you wouldn't understand half of it." She mumbled the last part.
"Wanna talk about it?" I said as I looked at her every now and then.
"No no. It's fine. I don't wanna burden you with my problems." She said with a small smile.
"Its fine. I'll listen and you can talk." I parked the car and then turned towards her waiting.
"No it's fine. And looks like we're here. I need something to drink." She opened the door and grabbed her purse closing the door behind her. I huffed in frustration. I got out and locked the car behind me.
"Ready?" I asked with a fake smile.
"Ready." She said with a small smile.
We began walking up and when we got to the door I rang the doorbell fixing my collar before whoever opened the door. I looked up when the door opened.
"About time you made it we've been waiting." My brother's girlfriend said.
"Hello to you too Des." I said when I pulled her into a hug.
"Mhm. Who dis ?" She said pointing to Keiara.
"Oh right. Keiara this is Destiny, my brothers girlfriend. Des this is Keiara a friend from school." I said introducing the two.
"Nice to meet you.", Des said as she fixed her purse on her shoulder.
" You too hun." , "So uhm..y'all fu-." I cut her off before she could finish her sentence.
"No Des, I said she was just a friend." I grabbed Keiara's hand and walked into the house past Destiny. I walked to the living room where everybody else was.
"Yo yo." I said as Keiara and I let go of each other's hands.
I smiled as I heard different murmurs coming from people. Destiny walked past us and made her way back to her original spot on Pryce's lap. I went around and hugged everybody. Then introduced Keiara.
Keiara POV
I smiled and looked around as Keith went around hugging everybody. Some of these people look familiar, like I've seen them before.
". . . this is Drea my homeboy girl and of course this is Destiny and Pryce my brother and his girl." I snapped out if my thoughts just in time.
I put on a smile and said hey to everybody. I examined everybody and I could've sworn I seen some if these dudes before. I just shrugged the feeling off and went to go sit down next to Keith.
20 minutes later
So far everything has been going good. As of now the boys are in the living room playing the game and us girls are in the movie room talking and stuff.
"Anybody want some more to drink? Tell me now or never." Drea asked us.
"Yeah, I want some more of that punch please." I said as I handed her my cup.
"I want some vodka with cranberry juice and lemon." Destiny handed her her cup.
"Always drinking that nasty shit.", Drea mumbled walking out. I chuckled a little.
