My hand flew to my mouth. Tears rushed to my eyes and down my face. Tyler looked at me, hopefully. The rest of the group all gasped.
What would I say? Yes? No? We're both young......but that doesn't mean we have to actually marry yet. We can just be engaged....I mean planning for the wedding would take a while, anyway.
"Yes," I said. Tyler shot up and grabbed my face, pulling me into a loving kiss. He pulled back and slipped the ring onto my finger. Then, he hugged me tightly.
I heard crying. I turned and saw Jesse and Chase literally sobbing on each other. I laughed.
"You two alright?" I asked.
"You've grown up so fast!" Jesse sobbed. I laughed a bit.
"So have you," I replied. "You aren't the same bad boy I met in 2nd grade over Pokemon."
Jesse smiled and gave me a hug. Then he turned to Tyler. "I swear to God if you hurt her, I will murder you."
"I wouldn't dream of it." Tyler said, pulling me from Jesse to hug me. "I love her so much."
"I love you, too, Tyler." I said, kissing his cheek.
~Adam's P.O.V.~
My heart shattered. She said yes. She's going to marry him and be his forever. No, that's not fair! She was mine! She was mine.....
I felt hot, angry tears prick at the back of my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. I let her go. I didn't fight back for her. I made a mistake.
"Ate you alright?" Jason whispered to me. I shook my head.
"Even after these 6th months without her, I still love her, dude. I haven't stopped." I confessed, sniffling at the end.
Jason sighed. "I know,"
I looked over at Libby, wrapped up in Tyler's arms. This isn't right. She should be wrapped up in my arms. But I guess we weren't meant to be.
"You're going to have to move on," Mitch told me.
"I know," I sighed, my voice cracking. "I just don't want to."
I took one last glance at Libby. She had her head on his shouldler, him whispering sweet things to her. With all of the guys she's dated, all of the guys that have liked her, I know I'm the only one that has loved her this much. Not even Tyler could love her as much as I do.
But I guess he can love her as much as she needs, because she's kissing him, and not me.
