Tigerstar sighed as he watched the two stolen kits, Squirrelkit and Leafkit, playing with Ferncloud's kits. What am I going to do? Cats with kittypet roots aren't allowed to live in a Clan. TigerClan is meant to be great, not a complete Clan to mock at! he thought with disappointment.

"Hawkfrost, get over here now!" he demanded to the dark tabby who was huddled with Featherpaw, who had wide eyes with excitement. He knows he shouldn't be talking to half-Clans and feeding them a load of mouse-dung.

"What is it?" Hawkfrost questioned as soon as he reached the TigerClan leader. "I was telling Featherpaw about RiverClan and she was pretty interested.

"Your Clan is TigerClan, not RiverClan. You shall not discuss with those who are half-Clan, either," Tigerstar told him. "Do you want to be a kit again?"

"Of course not!" Hawkfrost answered. "I'm a warrior and that's how it'll always be."

"I want you to get rid of Leafkit and Squirrelkit," he told him. "Kill them-feed them to a badger or something. I'm not having cats who will weaken my Clan."

"Don't you realise TigerClan needs all the warriors they can get?" Hawkfrost questioned, much to Tigerstar's disliking. No cat dared to question him when he gave out an order. "Leafkit and Squirrelkit should be apprentices now, I believe, along with Ferncloud's kits. You do complain about the lack of warriors."

Tigerstar had to agree that it was true; TigerClan was, to him, lacking in warriors. "But I want Clan born cats, not half-Clans or kittypet-rooted cats."

"I'm half-Clan yet you want me around the Clan!" Hawkfrost snarled. "Are you saying Mothpaw and I should go back to RiverClan, having to eat fish under stupid old Leopardstar's orders?"

"Just shut up!" Tigerstar yowled at the dark tabby. "You'll do as I say. Kill all cats who do not have TigerClan blood within them. I mean it, Hawkfrost, unless you want to suffer the consequences."

"So now you want all former ShadowClan cats killed? Even the rogues-" his gaze turned to Nightwhisper, who was sharing tongues with Darkflower-"you decided to take in because you thought they were strong?"

"Nightwhisper proved himself worthy of my acceptance," Tigerstar growled, his lip curling. The tip of his tail was twitching with his son's questioning. "Do you dare question my choices?"

"I do, actually," Hawkfrost replied confidently, holding his gaze. Tigerstar had to admit that he admired his son's bravery. Most cats wouldn't protest, and would look at him with fear or even avoid meeting his gaze. That's what all warriors should be like, brave, he thought to himself.

"Fine. Until something bad happens to TigerClan, the half-Clans and kittypets will not get killed." Hawkfrost began to turn away but he stopped him. "Oh, and Hawkfrost, bring that cat. . . Sharpstar to me."

"Fine, I will," Hawkfrost answered and began walking out of the camp.

Tigerstar lifted his muzzle up towards the dark sky, where the stars of Silverpelt shimmered brightly, emitting some light. His gaze narrowed slightly, rage filling him, as he remembered about cats he especially hated.

I've gotten my revenge on Bluestar for making TigerClan weak, he told himself. But one day Fireheart, when we meet in battle for the next time, you will pay dearly for ever being accepted as a warrior.

He then remembered about Scourge, the deadly leader of BloodClan who had betrayed them. You may think you rule your little alleyway, little cat, but you do not rule the forest; I do. You may rest all you want and drink your bowls of milk, but I will have my revenge, spilling your blood onto my claws.
