Alpha Mate...Denial

I was alpha and it was time to annouce it. The monday before school even started I stood on the pack house in my wolf and howeled. Everyone came to the front with some sleepy and some with happy morning people faces. I made a strange wolfy chuckle.

They all stared confused but finally it set in as the focussed on the glow my body was putting off. The alpha aura. The power sprung from my body and I howeled. Many of my pack howeled and I heard a one above the rest, Kai? I listened but continued to howel only a little louder to hear her. She was weak but she howled with full strength. Far away. I nodded and grinned while letting out a wolfy chuckle.

Later I walked to the center and shifted back. Yah, I'm naked but all of our pack is used to seeing everyone naked. I smelt arrousal of much of the women in the pack but none of them was the hormones of Kai.

I hate her, only once I helped her now I'm just a friend slightly, like keep your enemies closer saying. I cut my wolf out and went home to get dressed.

I walked in school with my black jeans, black nike,jords. and a dark blue button up shirt. I chose the right stuff because girls were staring like dogs on a leash to me and I just laughed thinking about the dog part. Dog...werewolf...get it?

I chuckled and some girls fell over, all but one who just walked by. Kai...

I studied her and looked at her expression, unreadable as usual.

I had dreamt of her last night and it was more then one dream that would be some great anecdotes if I sat down with her but I had to hate her.

She had black skinny jeans, a black shirt with a vest and some black and white nike airs. I nodded in spproval of her outfit. The only odd peice out was her thick rimmed glasses but they suited her. Made her looke like one of those sexy substitutes. I just shook my head and walked on.

First period and I had her in my class. She sat in the way back and I sat in the way back on the other side of the room.

I snuck glances out my perifial and saw her flexxing and scraping the table. She looked so pained like she wanted to do somthing, act on something, her expression full of lust. I could smell arousel on her flesh and my ego bursted but dimmed at the thought it might not be for me.

Then I was shocked for a minute, for once I could actually read her expression, she wasn't hiding(Probably too distracted to know she is projecting) from me.

"Damn it Demi! Quit looking at me!" I didn't react at first just listened to her voice and felt my body shake with it's sound.

"Shut up..." I managed to mutter against myself and my wolf's complaints.

"Stupid mutt" She said and glared at me walking towards the door.

To be candid I couldn't let her. "Stay here!" I was just barely aware of the glares towards Kai and shocked looks toward me and glares from the boys at me. Only my pack members chuckled at my confused expressions.

She froze and looked shocked at me. "Alpha" She said gaping

I nodded proudly and she just covored her face with a smirk. I wasat the least shocked she didn't comply to why I would stop her or how I became alpha.

"Nope" She said popping the 'p' before turning and waving me off.

My pack chuckled at how shocked I was. They knew I felt conplled to follow and felt weak since she was also alpha and could say no to me. The saw how I used my alpha voice and drastically sheilded emotion with it yet still she rejected it.

I ran out the door glad for it being a free period. "Kai!" I yelled and she went stiff but kept walking and eventually began to run. She ducked down the hall and just barely I caught up to her thanking my muscular long legs and I grabbed her slamming her into a locker.

"Kai" I said softer this time.

I created a barrier with my arms and out gazes locked. My wolf and I acted on impulse and I kissed her. Instantly she responded and kissed me back. I no longer wanted to avert this mate thing I could feel.

I kissed and I gave her toungue access to my mouth and she tentivally padded around. We kissed and soon as I was breathless I began to kiss down her neck and she moaned softly. Soon I got to the mate mark you mark when you want to start the mating process. I felt my canines extend and I leaned onto her neck. As soon as I made contact she went rigid. This made me stop for approval but she seem hesitant and soon she acknowledged and comfirmed that by shoving me away to the other side of the hall.

She pushed up against me and kissed me hard. I felt a growl seep from my lips and she gasped into me. she unbottoned my jeans and kneeled before me but then kissed my thigh and stood up.

"Don't play games with me Demi. We were friends once, but your pack tried to steal me from my father." I could hear the regret in her words but she continued. "Leave me be." She shoved me agasint she locker as I caught my breath and she ran almost inhumanly towards the exit

"Damn it!"

I slammed against the lockers.

You let our little mate free. My wolf interupted me and chastised me

yea well you wondered why you felt protective and felt the need to have her, also how you had the strength to take alpha from your father.

I pieced it all together and he was right, she was my mate.

I didn't like that someone almost as strong as me was my mate but it oddly enough made her sexier.

I headed to the next class and got there when the bell rang and I listened to lockers bang and students chatters swerl around the halls. I hung back and soon my class was full, another free period. I love being alpha all I have to do is so 'your dismissed this period' and the teacher leaves.

About 30 minutes later I was dozing off and I had 15 minutes before class was dismissed.

two blondes walked up to me and tapped me on the shouldar causing me to slide upright. I looked at their flirty grins and grimaced but kept a straight face.

"Hey demitrious" She giggled and she pushed her friend forward to say the rest "We wanted to know if you wanted to go to our party at my house. Everyone in the school's invited." I thought about it

"Everyone" One name in particular danced in my head

"Yep" She said blushing

"Tell me your names?"

"I'm Lacey" The one to the left beat the one to the right to the punch "And this is Kimmy" They both blushed

"Well I can't reject cute girls like you and plus I'm a party guy" I cupped both of their face and waved them off and the walked off gushing about how it was 'soooooo appropriate to as him' and I turned my bored gaze out of the window and Kai's shocked, agitated features caught my gaze.

She was glaring at me. If looks could kill...

I sent her a 'what' look and she just rolled her eyes and mouthed 'mother fucking clueless piece of...' and she just shook her head and trucked away. I wanted to chase her and my wolf didn't disagree but my brain told me to wait till later at the party to get to her.

THIS CHAPTER IS SOOOOOOO SHORT!!! It was pretty much a bridge chapter!
