//after the restaurant closes, at a café//

"Chef-san," Satoru started, "if I may know, how can you get your father's restaurant?"

"Well," she takes a sip from her tea, "this morning, my father left a letter to me. He says that he will be leaving to travel around the world. He also left that resto for me to manage. That's how I got it."

"Soukka.. um, I know this is a bit personal, but may I know your age?"

She laughs. "I'm still in my 20's, I just graduated from university a year ago."

"And don't be afraid if you want to ask anything, I won't bite." She added with a wink which made Satoru gulped.

"If that's the case... then, what's Chef's real name?!" Satoru shouted with a little excitement.

"Here's your order; 3 Chicken Ciabattas." A waitress came and put Satoru's orders in the table and left.

She chuckled. "Take a bite first." Satoru takes his food and bite it. She thinks for a while. She exhales. "Just keep it a secret ok?"

Satoru swallows the bite. "Wait, so that means you're not telling me?!"

She just answered with a grin and a 'peace' sign. Satoru sighs.

"Then, what should I call you?" Chef asked.

"Well, Aomine is my my family name, so Chef-san can call me Satoru."

"Alright then, Sa-to-ru-kun~ " she said with her usual teasing tone. He just looked down, embarrassed again.

"Aomine, huh? I've heard it somewhere...." she thinks for a moment while Satoru already finishes the first ciabatta.

"Nevermind!" She suddenly exclaimed. "So, how's work today? Do you like it?"

"It was decent, but actually pretty fun. There was a lot of people, but most of them are tourists from Europe; only a few Japanese people come."

Chef sighs. She leans into the comfy chair. "I guess it's hard to manage a pasta restaurant in the middle of Tokyo; we have to compete with ramen, udon, soba restaurants.. and what's worse; those restaurants are around us! I'm afraid that we will go bankrupt...." she closes her eyes and sigh in frustration.

"No!!" Satoru shouted and banged the table which made Chef startled. "I won't let that happen!! I believe, with our restaurant that is different than others, it will be an advantage for us! And I will work really, really hard to make the restaurant success and beat the other restaurants!!"

"Keep your voice down, Satoru! We're not alone in here!!" She whispered.

Satoru silented for a second. He looked around. Fortunately, there were only a few people left at the café but they sure stared Satoru with a puzzled expression.

"Gomennasai gomennasai!!" He stands up and bows a few times.

"It's okay it's okay! Just sit down!!"

He sits and blushes madly. Chef just facepalms.

She inhales. "But hey, that's quite a motivational speech." She smiled. "It makes me confident. I'll work hard too to make the restaurant go forward."

"Yes that's the spirit, Chef-san! Hi-five!"

Satoru hi-fived Chef. She giggles a bit. "Hurry up and finish your food Satoru! The café's gonna close too."

"Nani?!" He's really surprised and literally swallowed the two ciabattas whole, with no visible chewing. Chef giggled and finishes her tea too. "Let's go." The two went out from the restaurant.
