Percy led me to an empty hall with a statue which I didn’t find that weird because mum already took me to meet with Professor to discuss my ‘issue’.

“Sherbet lemon,” He said and the stair case opened.

“Go on, they’re waiting for you.” He said ushering me upstairs. I walked up the stairs and stopped when I reached the door and listened.

“Headmaster, are you completely sure that she was dangling her brother upside down?” My mother’s voice asked.

“Yes, Professor McGonagall saw her wave her wand in the way Mr. Malfoy was floating, it was truly brilliant.” There’s that word again, brilliant.

“It’s true, mother, but I wouldn’t say brilliant, more like a stupid mistake.” Draco’s voice said with do much venom I’d swear it wasn’t even my brother talking. I knocked on the door and it magically swung open.

“Ms. Nightshade, we were just talking about you.” Professor Dumbledore said as I took a seat next to mum in front of his desk.

“I’m sorry Professor, I really am, and he just made me so, mad.” I said sighing a bit and he chuckled.

“You’re not in any trouble, my dear.” He said smiling.

“I’m not?” I asked at the same time as Draco asked “She’s not?”

“No, what you did showed what you learned in Professor Flitwick’s class, and true brilliance.” He said smiling again. What is up with everyone using the word ‘brilliant’ when they’re talking about me?

“But, professor, she went against school rules, shouldn’t she get some kind of punishment?” Draco asked and I rolled my eyes.

“She did indeed break school rules; however, you have broken many rules since you first arrived here.” Dumbledore said and Draco slouched in his seat.

“You two may go back to your classes, Mrs. Malfoy can I speak to you for a moment?” He asked as Draco and I got up and walked out. As soon as the door closed I turned to him.

“What is wrong with you?! First you act like an idiot and then you try to get me in trouble?! What happened to my loving brother?! I thought we were supposed to be the rebellion generation!” I whisper/shouted at him walking down the stairs.

“What’s wrong with me?! What’s wrong with you?! You hung me in the air and you’ve been ignoring me all day!” He whispered back.

“Of course I’ve been ignoring you! No one is supposed to know that we’re brother and sister!” I whispered back.

“Whatever, we continue this conversation later.” He said going to his next class. I sighed but headed to my class anyway. He is so infuriating! The rest of the day went calmly and it was completely boring; Luna and I talked in Ravenclaw Tower until it was around time for dinner then walked to the Great Hall. We started walking down talking about something completely random when Fred, George, and Ginny joined us.

“Well if it isn’t our little sister’s best friends,” George said.

“Heard about you dangling Malfoy in the air after he called Hermione a you-know-what,” Fred started.

“It’s absolutely repulsive what he said of course,” George continued.

“But the way you dangled him like it was no problem at all,” Fred continued.

“Was truly wicked.” They finished together.

“How in the name of what,” I started but Ginny cut me off.
