I'm so sorry about the wait for the next chapter! I know how extremely irritating it is. I dont have a satisfactory excuse, but here is the next part. I'm sorry if it seems off from the story, but I wrote it in such a long gap from when I wrote the last piece. Anyway, if anyone is still interested, here it is!

Olivia awoke to a feeling of contentment like nothing she had ever experienced before. The sunshine was coming through the thin material of the curtains and beating pleasantly upon her skin. Normally, that would be more than enough to put Olivia in a good mood for the morning, but for this morning, that was not what was causing her blissful happiness.

Olivia could feel the solid wall of muscle pressed against her back and a smile spread across her lips as she remembered exploring it in great detail last night. She chose to keep her eyes closed, relishing in the feeling of being nestled so securely in her husband’s arms. His strong arm was pillowing her head while the other wrapped softly around her waist, preventing her from moving away throughout the night. When she felt the soft movement of his lips on the top of her head, her grin continued to widen.

“Why are you smiling so brightly this early in the morning?” she heard Gregory ask cheekily, his voice husky from sleep. His voice, close to her ear, caused a pleasant shiver to race down her spine. She turned in his arms, bringing the fronts of their bodies together. She wrapped her arms around his torso before answering.

“Other than waking up after the best night of my life, I cannot quite think of a reason as to why a smile should be situated upon my face,” Olivia replied, a hint of a blush creeping into her cheeks. Desire stormed back into Gregory’s eyes at her response, and before Olivia could even think, he swept her into a passionate kiss that caused her toes to curl and her hands to grasp blindly at the back of his neck. They pulled apart much earlier than Olivia would have liked. Gregory heard her whimper slightly as he leaned back.

“You have no idea what you do to me,” he told her whilst cupping her cheek in his hand and kissing her on the nose. “That, too, was the best night of my life. How I ever thought I could have lived without you, I’ll never know,” he told her sincerely. A feeling of warmth and love rushed through Olivia at his admission. Olivia leaned in to lightly kiss him before laying her head gently on his chest to hear the steady beat of his heart under her ear.

“I love you, Gregory, and at this moment, I am finding it very unlikely that I will ever want to quit this bed,” she admitted before placing her lips lightly in his chest. She felt him squeeze her lovingly before his reply came.

“That is good since I find it very unlikely that I will ever let you out of this bed.” Before she could reply, he had her flipped onto her back. His raised himself onto his elbows, peering down at her face. “I love you, Olivia…so, so much,” he professed before proceeding to show her how much.

The newly married couple did not make it out of bed in time to attend breakfast but were famished enough to make an appearance at lunch. Instead of sitting on opposite sides of the table as was generally expected, Olivia and Gregory seated themselves next to each other. Not surprisingly, the lunch was filled with light touches and small smiles as the couple bathed in the afterglow of their matrimony. It wasn’t until they were nearly finished with lunch that Olivia asked what they were going to do during the day.

“Anything you wish, my dear,” Gregory answered, wiping his mouth on the napkin sitting in his lap. “This trip is for you. Anywhere you want to go, just ask. I want this to be a time you will never forget,” he told her sincerely.

“It has already been unforgettable,” she confessed, managing to control the blush in her cheeks. “As long as I am with you, I will be happy. Perhaps we can walk amongst the shops?”

“We most certainly can, and do not worry my dear,” he said as he began to remove himself from the table, “I have a few surprises up my sleeve.” He winked at her before dashing out of the room with her hot on his heels. His only reply to her onslaught of questions was laughter.

Gregory watched his new bride with pure happiness as he witnessed her face light up at the sights of London. They had been walking around the city for almost an hour now, and Olivia’s delight had not faded throughout their walk. Never would he have dreamed that he would take such delight from leading a woman around the shops in London, but he also never believed that woman would be Olivia. He chuckled to himself as Olivia spotted a boutique and pulled him quickly along the street. Fate had a funny way of showing you how unexpected life can be.

“Oh Gregory, isn’t this bonnet beautiful?” she exclaimed, as she stared at it through the glass window. Gregory didn’t respond. He simply grabbed her hand and led her through the doors of the shop.

“Gregory, what are you doing?” she asked, taken by surprise. Leaving her question unanswered, her approached the owner and quickly asked to buy the bonnet in the window.

“Oh, Gregory, no! My appreciation for the bonnet was not a hint for you to buy it for me!” she exclaimed, a trace of worry and guilt in her voice. He stopped her protest almost immediately.

“I know that, Olivia. You were just admiring its beauty, but I believe it will look much more beautiful on you than it would on a mannequin.” At Olivia’s look of hesitance, he continued. “Liv, you really must get used to this because I do not believe I will be able to restrain myself from spoiling you.” He grinned down at her as he saw the resistance start to leave her.

“Alright, Gregory, but just this once. I do not need you to buy me things to be happy. Your company is all the happiness I need,” she told him sweetly. Gregory brought her hand up to kiss before turning to pay for the newest addition to her wardrobe. Whilst he paid the owner, Olivia walked to a mirror placed on the wall in the shop to put on her new bonnet. She couldn’t keep the smile from her face as she saw herself in it. She was too preoccupied to notice the look of love coming from Gregory as he walked up to her.

“You look beautiful,” he whispered in her ear as he stood close to her. Color spread across Olivia’s cheeks as she turned to face him.

“Thank you,” was her reply before she reached up to kiss him on the cheek. Passion spread across Gregory’s face.

“You are welcome, my dear, but I think we had better move along before I get too wrapped up in you and I forsake propriety.” Olivia’s eyes widened, but she quickly nodded as she led them through the shop and out the door. Never would she have thought that she could have such an effect on a man.

As Olivia and Gregory continued down the street, neither saw the eyes watching them from around the corner of the building located at the end of the block. Wrapped up as they were in each other, they failed to realize that those eyes had been following them for much of the afternoon. They shone with malice before they turned in the opposite direction of the couple and moved away.

Sorry for any mistakes! Hope you enjoyed it :) Sorry its not as long as I would've liked! I'll do my best to keep up with the writing, but college has a way of getting in the way lol
