Chapter 3

Emily's P.O.V

I woke up next morning and the first thing that popped in my head : Liam . I don't really know why Im so worried . I mean , I don't even know him and of course I don't like him . But he's hot , and we've got to admit that .

I dragged myself out of bed and took a bath . I went downstairs and grabbed a granola bar . Then I was off to class .

I was wearing a white lace dress and of course my black coat .

I got there and went straight to my first class which was Math . As soon as I entered the room they called Liam to the principal's office . Everyone in the room was whispering things like "i heard he got in a fight with Jake " and "I heard he's getting detention " .

God , Im so curious . They called Jake too. Luckily , the day went by really fast .

Then I had art class. Everything was pretty normal until he walked through the door

. He started talking to Mrs. Jenny and all I heard was that he had to take art classes for 2 months . He stared at my for a moment . I think I got goosebumps in my tongue.

"Liam you can sit with Emily for now " oh God . He sat next to me , from the corner of my eye I could see him looking at me .

"Hi , Im Liam " his british accent is way too hot .

"Hi , Emily " I said with a really low and shy voice . I looked up at him and he had this shocked look in his face .

"You are her "

"What ? "

"You are the girl who called the nurse for me aren't you ?"

" maybe " I flushed like crazy . I think he's just thinking "oh this little girl thinks i like her " . Correction , nobody likes me .

"Thanks" he whispered in my ear . I think he's teasing me .

"You are welcome... " I started sweating . It was really hot in here apart from that I was wearing my black coat .

"Hey arent you dying under that coat "

"No , its okay " I was dying , but i couldn't really take it off . After a while the bell rang .

"Hey , I know we just met but , do you want to go grab lunch with me ? There is a really good italian restaurant around the corner "

"I didn't bring any money " I never really had money with me .

"Im inviting you . Im not going to make you pay for anything . Im thanking you for what you did for me "

"Liam " I sighed .

"Please , I really want to thank you . Besides , I think you are really cute " I flushed and smiled at the ground and I think he noticed .

"Ok "

" let's go "

we both waved at Mrs. Jenny and left the room . We went to the parking lot where we got in his car . The ride was kinda silent , the only sound was the music playing in the radio . When we got there I realized that I've never been here . It was really pretty and it smelled good . He ordered a table for two and the waitresss showed us our table .

"Do you like it here ?" He said while looking at the menu and back at me .

"I like it "

A big silence covered us but he decided to talk after we sat, in this beautiful table.

"So tell me about you " he said . Well I suffer from depression , I don't have any friends , my parents fight all the time and i cut myself .

"What do you want to know ?"

"Do you have a boyfriend ?"

"Nop" I said popping the P .

"Who is your best friend ?"

"I-I don't have one " I was really embarassed . "I don't have any f-f-friends " .

"Well " he paused and looked at me with those enchanted chocolaty eyes "now you have one " he winked .

After dinner he took me home . The food was really good and I had a lot fun . I climbed to my balcony door so I wouldn't have to see my parents killing each other . It breaks my heart to think that they have been fighting for this long . I got in my pjs and sat in my bed with a book .

My father stepped in the room and sat on the edge of my bed . Apart from the fact that he hates my mom , he really cares for me and I love him .

"Hey sweetie . Where were you ?"

"I was having dinner with a friend " .

"A boy ?"

"Yes dad . Hey where is my razor I can't find it ".

"I took it away . Honey self-harm is a really dangerous thing . You could even kill yourself "

"Dad , stop " Sometimes my dad was a little exagerrated . But he's right .

"Now go to bed and don't kill yourself "

"Goodnight dad " I sighed

"Goodnight ".
