Time is the only thing you can't replace or get back and tomorrow is my graduation, the day I was never going to return to school, or college. The year I would get my own apartment, or a job. I was looking my reflection in the mirror, how did I get this far?
Liam had already a new job at Target (which Louis and Harry got into too). I really think he can do better, but this is the start of something new .
"Hello?" I said as I answered my phone.
"Hello, Ms. Jackson ?"
"Mmmm.. Yes"
"Hello miss, I'm Devon from New York's "Fabulous Magazine" , Mr. Arnold Castellano called the office this morning and he sent some of your work. We know miss that this is unusual and this is also something we usually don't do, but your work has inspired us and we will really appreciate if you could be part of the "Fabulous Magazine" team."
Arnold Castellano is a 40 year old man (really good friend of my dad) who is a famous writer. My dad knows him since they were twelve, Arnold helped me in a couple of short stories I made for Lucy and her friends. He told me I had talent. I never told Liam about him or my crazy passion for writing. This opportunity with Fabulous Magazine could change my life! Maybe I could write my own article or do interviews with celebrities.
"Devon, you are not kidding right?"
"No miss. Actually I'm going to send you the information about the application for the job. You have 24 hours to fill it up and send it back 0. Miss Jackson this is a once in a life time opportunity... Don't waste it.
"I won't. Thank you for calling me"
"Have a great day and consider our offer"
"Thank you! Goodbye"
WHAT JUST HAPPENED?
I had to call Arnold and tell him!
"Sorry this number is out if service"
Weird.
How am I going to tell my mom and dad and .... Liam.
I was really considering this option. The e-mail was practically an exam but it was about myself. The only thing that was keeping me from going it was the idea of moving to New York. The idea of leaving my family my friends and Liam.
