I wake and look over to still find Mia laying next to me . Last night she told me she was ready but I couldn't do it . You see , don't get me wrong I was down to do it , it's just I had to make her first time special . I get up to pick up around in her room , throw All the trash , pick up the movies , you know ? I hear her groan and I go back to lay next to her . She grabs my arm and throws it over her and I hold on tight. " I love you " she says softly . " I love you too babe " I reply, kissing the back of her head . About 5 minutes pass and her mom walks in. " Mia you got chemo today remember? Get up and I'll take you " " I can take her , it won't bother me " I suggest . She smiles and walks out . Chemo huh ? So I guess she's still trying to fight it . She was never the girl to give up , she always had to fight until she couldn't anymore , that's what I love about her . I push her gently waking her up and tell her to get ready and I'd be down stairs.
" Breakfast?" Her mom asks . I smile and say thank you , and fix a plate for Mia . " So she's still taking chemo huh ?" I say . Her mom sighs and says " yeah , she doesn't wanna give up . She's doing everything she can to fight this , that's my little solider , but the doctors say that this might be her last session because the cancer is so bad there's not much to do " I look down and ignore what I just heard. I hear footsteps behind me so I turn around and see Mia. Damn shes so beautiful... " here baby I got you a plate " I say handing it to her . She starts digging in and I laugh . Once she's done I ask if She's ready to go and we head out to her session .
" You don't have to be in here " Mia says . I see the needles inside her , and man it makes my stomach turn , never been a fan of needles . I look at her and you can see the sadness and how broke she is . Looking into her eyes can make you feel so broken . Honestly I wish it was me instead of her , or at least I wish there was something I could do . She smiles but you can tell it's fake . " Just a couple of minutes and you'll be done " The nurse says . She looks at me and smiles " are you Alex ? Mia talks about you a lot , it'd really cute. You know yalls story ?" She says . I get up to shake her hand and introduce myself properly. She takes the needles out of Mia and then she was finally done . " Imma miss you Mia , take care. Have fun and remember what I said okay ?" The nurse says hugging her . They finally let go and I ask Mia where she wants too eat and she says Chinese , like Always .
" Thank you baby , I was starving" she says . " Can I ask you something , does this bother you , you know stopping the chemo?" I ask . She looks at me and just shakes her head . I sigh and just continue to eat. An hour pasts by and I need to take her home cause a party is tonight and Jaime is making me go . I see a group of girls just staring at her but Mia doesn't say anything. They kept mumbling shit under their breath. Something hits Me and I don't know what it is . I stand up and walk to them . " If y'all ain't gonna say shit to our face then shut the fuck up , stop fucking staring too before I fuck y'all up so bad , y'all become blind!!!" I say . The girls jump and walk away. I turn to face Mia and she looks scared. What the fuck was that.... " let's go " I say grabbing her hand . I take her home , kiss her bye and head to my house.
I throw up a pair of ripped jeans , a black button up , with my black nikes. I grab my keys and watch and spray some cologne. I call Jaime and tell him I'm on my way . I stop by the store to get a hook up with weed and a couple of drinks . I pull up to the house and he comes out . " Already stoned ?" I ask . He just laughs . We head to the Chick's house that's throwing the party . We pull up and it's already packed . Girls wearing your typical slutty clothes , the boys trying to fuck everyone . You know ? We go inside and start drinking . I watch my limit though . Hours go by and I'm fucked up. Fucking Jaime . I go and sit down and some girl comes to me . " Your so fucking sexy , I couldn't keep my eyes off you. " She says. I laugh and just shake my head . " Come with me" she says pulling me to follow her . We head up stairs and go to a room . She pushes me on the bed and starts kissing on me . I snap back to reality and push her off. " Get the fuck off me dude " I say. Leaving the room . " Hey I seen you with her. Did you get some " Jaime says . You can smell the fucking booze on him . Now I know why I never touched this shit , it reminds me of my faggot father . "Dude know , I got my girl at home , I don't need a fucking hoe " I say pushing him away. " She's gonna fucking die Anyways you dumbass , why not fucking have fun before she leaves , why the fuck would you want a bitch with no hair , can't even live to the fullest , who's gonna die , who's worthless " he says . I turn to face him and instant rage takes over . " What the fuck did you just say " " you heard -" he gets cut off by me attacking him . I tackle him to the floor and start pounding on his face. His nose starts bleeding , cuts on his face , he begins to choke in his blood. I can't stop , I couldn't . I feel someone pull me off and I punch them too . I stand up to see that I'm covered in blood and I run to my car and leave to Mia's.
" What happened!!!" She yells . I sit her down and explain everything to her , at first she breaks but then she sees all the blood and throws me in the shower. " Come with me "I ask . We get in the shower and she helps me get cleaned up. " Whyd you do it ?" She asks . " He talked about you , I couldn't have that " she turns around to where the water hits her back . " He's right though " she says , you can hear the crack in her voice . " And if he is , those hoes I don't want, I want the queen I have now " I say turning her around and kissing her . We get out the shower and go lay down . 5 minutes pass and she's already Asleep. I can't stop thinking about what I did , honestly I don't regret it at all , I just wanna know what's wrong with me . I turn to face her and hold her . I start to doze off and I crash out. ..
