The Secret Lovers

Chapter 1

Love.

It's just a simple word but it does mean a ton of things.

So, what is love?

Love is when two people touch each other's soul.
Love is honesty and trust.
Love is helping one another.
Love is mutual respect.
Love means that differences can be worked out.
Love is the connection of two hearts.

I've been loved but never been loved romantically. Yeah, you're absolutely right, I'm still single.
Yes, I do believe in love but sometimes I don't because I think love is scary, you love the person so much but after the person hurts you and leaves you you'll end up hurt, it's the worst feeling ever.

Well, I guess let me introduce myself. I'm Lauran Anderson, and I'm 19 years old. I'm just an ordinary, average girl, with long wavy brown hair, and grey eyes and an average height. I'm slim and tall but not too tall and not too short.

I have 3 sides;
1)the loving,sweet, caring side
2) the fun and crazy side
3)the side you would never want to see.

I live with my lovely mum and brother who can be annoying sometimes.

My dad left us when I was young and mum never told us why. Mum took care of us ever since that day. She's a doctor and she works day and night for us. Well, my brother, Matt is 20, yes one year older than me. I really love my mum and my brother.

Oh, and yeah, you must wondering about my friends. So, you see, I have two best friends who are, Jamie and Rick. We've been friends since kindergarten. They've been there for me whenever I feel sad, happy or upset. And not to mention I love them as well.

So now at this current moment, I'm laying on my cozy, comfortable bed with my laptop on my stomach. I was reading a book on 'Wattpad'. Ever since I knew this app I'm really obsessed about it. I mean it's really cool reading book on online than buying at the book stores.

I just don't read them but I do write stories as well because I thought maybe I should give it a try and see what response do I get. I've been writing a story foe this past few weeks and so far I'm getting a few good response.

Well,not bad!
I said proudly to myself.

"Lauran, dinner's ready!" I hear my mom yelling from downstairs. I glance at the time and it shows '8.30pm'. Well, it's dinner time.

"I'll be down,mom!" I yell back at her so she could hear me. I shut my laptop and place it on my table and went downstairs.

So are you ready to know more about my life. I guess so you're and you better be!
