"For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn't understand growth, it would look like complete destruction."
Blank plus nothing equals the world, or nothing equals the world and by symmetry of identity that means the world means nothing? The world is a whole lot of nothing, a big cosmic vacuity, we think that there is a whole lot of something, but really, we are enslaved by our desires. We slip into this happy state of nirvana, which gives us enough life to enjoy being dead. No-one is ever quite awake enough, to fully open their eyes.
"Open your eyes." Jesse said.
"My eyes are already open." I said to Jesse.
"I don't see anything." I whispered.
"I see blackness." I sighed as I started to feel my heart start to race.
"Jesse am I dead?" I asked.
"You're not dead." I could hear the smile in Jesse's voice.
"Jesse did I kill my mother?" I gasped.
"She wasn't your mother." Jesse sighed.
"Then who did I kill?" I whispered, I could hear the echo in my voice.
"We killed the voice of reason inside our heads." Jesse said devilishly.
"Where are we Jesse?" I gasped; I could feel a weight on my chest.
"We are waiting for you." Jesse said softly.
"What for?" I said through ragged breaths.
"To wake up." Jesse's voice got distant.
"Jesse!" I screamed hoarsely.
I thrashed around into the black void I was suffocating in, he said he wouldn't let go. I could hear noises, getting closer, so close. The beeping, it ripped through my skull, the breath in my throat, my breath.
I gasped.
I opened my eyes, everything was misty and there was people moving around me so quickly. I pulled at the plastic mask on my face, that dirty mask trying to suffocate me.
"You're back." A strange lady cooed, she stroked my hair and pulled my arms away from my face.
"Oh sweetie!" I heard my mother's voice as I felt her arms wrapping around me, her smell swirling around me, bringing me back. I stretched my eyes as the mist cleared from them. I breathed sturdy breaths as I looked around the pale blue room. Nothing had ever looked so real. I had spent so long looking for the truth, but all the while it was here, outside of my own reality.
Outside of the reality I had created for myself, everything is nothing until you observe it and you'll never find the truth until you wake up.

Short Story"What's your name?" I asked. "Jesse." He responded. A small glint in his eye danced back and forth between me and the reflection of the streetlight above us. A soft smile made delicate footprints across his lips as he looked towards the pavement. "...
