“Meer!”
“Oh Y-yui. W-what’s the m-matter?”, Meer asked confused of her friend.
“Sorry, it’s just that....Uhm.. Do you want to go to the beach with me?”, she asked.
“H-huh? R-really? I mean just the two of us?”
“No, we’ll be going with the rest. Patrick and.. and Martin will be there too. It will be fun. So are you coming?”
“B-but, I’m not sure if my parents will allow it. And when will be going?”, Meer asked with excitement in her voice.
“Tomorrow. Please, please, please come with us...I will not go if you don’t”, she asked her while pouting so that she can’t refuse her. Please let my pout change her mind. When i do this to Martin, he can’t refuse my wishes.
“O-okay, I’ll m-make it. I-I’ll call when it’s a-already settled.”
“O...kay........then let’s go home and fix our things. Ja! Meer!”
“H-heh...A-alright bye then Yui”
Mai enter Meer’s room to asks Meer to help her with the homeworks.
“Sis, can you help me with these?”
“Uhm..Sorry Mai but I’m packing things up. I’m really sorry.”
“Ha? Where are you going sis? Can I come with you?”
“No Mai, Yui invited me so it’s rude if you’ll come.”
“But sis, it’s my first time to see and talk with Yui-neechan, you know I really like her so please....”
“Mai! You can’t always do what you want.”
She turned her gaze to her sister but she was surprised to see that Mai is already dialling Yui’s number.
“Oi Mai! What are you doing give it back to me!”
She reach for her cellphone but it’s already too late, someone already picked Yui’s phone. Mai stick her tongue to her sister.
“Hello.”, someone said.
“Hello, is this Yui-neechan’s phone? Can I talk to her?”
“Hn. Wait for a sec.”, the other line replied.
“Wait, who are you? You’re a boy so I’m sure that your not Yui-neechan nor her brother because she don’t have one so who are you?”, she asked the boy and she’s really curious because she haven’t heard anything about Yui having a boyfriend.
“Whatever. I’m her friend so don’t bother asking things.”, he replied quite irritated.
Before Mai can say anything more, she heard a door opened in the other line and a voice of a girl is heard.
“Idiot! Why did you pick up my phone huh? What if that person thinks that something is up here! You should think before you act idiot!”, the said girl said.
“What is your problem huh? I’m your friend so there’s no malice in there. You should be the one to think before you say anything”, the boy said.
“Whatever.”
Yui picked the phone.
“Hello, i’m sorry for the rudeness of that man. Who’s this?”, she softly said.
“Uh-uh..it’s alright Yui-neechan, this is Mai, do you remember me?”, Mai said
“Of course! What’s the matter Mai? Is there anything you need?”, she said with glee in her voice.
“Uhm...can I ask you a favor?”
“Yes, what is it?”
“I want to go with you to the beach tomorrow.”
Before Yui can reply, Meer shouted from the other line.
“Mai that’s rude! You shouldn’t ask for it!”, Meer said.
“Ne, Meer, it’s alright. She can come and like what they say the more the merrier, isn’t it?”, Yui said to counter Meer.
Meer grab the phone from Mai to thank Yui.
“T-thank you Y-Yui,you’re r-really a good f-friend. Sow- who’s that s-someone over there?”, she asked.
“Huh? It’s nobody, don’t concern yourself with him. He’s just an idiot loitering around here.”
“I-I see.”
“I guess you’re still packing some things so I’ll hung up. Bye.”, Yui said and hung up the phone.
“Bye.”, Meer replied but then the other line is already beeping.
“You know you’re really rude. So back to business, why are you here?”, Yui asked the guy
“I’m just here to say that you should not wear showy and flashy clothes especially bikinis because it will scare all the guys.”
“The nerve of you! You just went here to insult me? And I even prepared some snacks for you.”
“Then I’ll eat it, it will be a waste of money if I won’t eat it.”, the boy said.
“Why you! Get out of here! Don’t come back! I hate you!”
Yui pushed the guy out of the door but then the guy already picked one cookie from the tray and swallow it whole.
“Thanks for this and i’m not joking when I said that you should not wear those kinds of things.”, the boy said and waved to Yui.
Yui threw her pillow to knock the head of the boy but it didn’t hit the target because the pillow hit the door instead of the boy.
