Sometimes a smile is the easiest way out of a situation, even if it's a fake smile.
"Meer, do you like... Martin?"
"Uh...h-huh, w-hat do you m-mean, Y-yui?", she hastily asked her and held her hands on her chest.
"I thought you like him because you blushed when you looked at him. Maybe, I'm just hallucinating. I 'm sorry to bother you.", she said then scratched her head because of embarrassment.
"I-it's o-okay, Y-yui. I-it's really n-nothing.", she smiled innocently to Yui.
"He..heh... Come on!",she grabbed her hand and dashed through the classroom.
The tests passed and the two girls got out from the classroom.The two of them are happily conversing with each other.
"Meer, I 'm going, I still have practice today. Oh, by the way, you can watch if you want. I guess those two will also be there."
"A-ah...s-sorry Yui b-but I promised Mai to help her with h-her a-assignments." she said but still give Yui a smile to reassure her that it's alright.
"Well, bye! see yah tomorrow, Meer.", she wave her goodbye then carry her bag in her left shoulder and her bat in her right hand.
Meer just bowed as a respect to yui and went off to the opposite direction.
"Yo everyone! How cha doing?", she asks her teammates.
"Yui, can you ask those two guys over there to substitute for the others?", Ken said while pointing his index finger to the direction of the two guys.
Yui smiled because she recognized the two guys Ken was pointing.
"Alright! I 'll try, maybe I should seduce them to join us, shouldn't I, Ken?", she smiled at him seductively and
"Hahahah! If you can see your face right now, it's really.. Hahahah!", she said clutching her stomach because of the nearly tomato color of Ken's face.
Ken just scratched his head because of embarrassment.
"They are my friends so there will be no problem asking them and you don't look as innocent as you really are, Ken." she said but Ken didn't understand if she's joking or not.
"Oi guys, wanna join?" she asks.
"Of course, Yui.", Patrick quickly said.
"No.", Martin bluntly said.
"Heh?...You're refusing my request then it will be an order... Martin, if you don't carry your ass right here and right now I will not..."
"Alright!", Martin angrily said and Patrick just smiled because of Martin's outburst.
The three of them went to the field and played with the other members of the team. They haven't played with each other so it's a new experience for the three friends and they enjoyed it.
"So Yui, when will your team compete?", Patrick asked with interest in the tone of his voice.
"One week from now. I know that they are nervous and excited about it and we just think of the positive side of it than the negative so that we can win.", she said with pride in her voice.
"Change topic. How's Meer with the two of you?", she asked curiously.
"She's alright but I don't think I will get really close with her.", Patrick said.
"I see. How about you Martin?", she asked and turn her gaze to his direction.
"Fine.", he emotionlessly said.
"Hmmm..."
"If I don't really know the two of you, I will say that the two of you are gays. Hahahah! Don't you have eyes? Meer's really beautiful with her stunning blonde hair and all and if I 'm just a guy I will court her.", she jokes.
The two guys sweatdropped anime style.
"By the way, be there on our game, I will invite meer too.", she ordered them.
"Yeah, yeah.", the two of them simultaneously replied.
