"Wake up Anna! It's 8 O'clock!" I woke up to Josh shoving me.

"Wait what's the time?" I muffled.

"8 O'clock! You're late for your exam!"

He was right, my history and science exams were today. But I'd stayed up till two revising and I guess I slept through my alarm.

"I've got you some breakfast but it's cold sorry" he placed a plate of toast in front of me coated in butter. After yesterdays episode I didn't deserve it so I nodded my head and laughed, it was cold so he couldn't blame me for not eating. He smiled back. Josh was being unusually nice? "I'll leave you to get dressed and I can drop you off if you want?"

"You can't drive?" I asked, raising my eyebrows because he had been known for borrowing a few cars for a spin.

"Harry can, legally." He flashed a grin. He probably felt cool for having a friend who could drive.

Josh left my room and I rolled out of my bed letting myself fall to the floor then I stood up, yawned and head to the wardrobe in the corner of my pink room.

I found one of my summer dresses and slipped on some tights. As I slid them up my chubby thighs, a ladder started to appear. Come on I'm in a rush! I spat to myself.

When I'd found some more tights and put on my little pink skater dress, I ran downstairs, grabbed my DM's, my black coat and the exam bag I'd packed last night then followed Josh out of the front door.

8:20 read the bright numbers on my phone on the cold, wet October morning. A small blue car pulled out in the road and Josh grabbed my hand and we ran threw the flowerbeds of our large front garden.

"Get in the back" Josh ordered, opening the front door and unlatching the plastic to make the front carseat tilt forward. I clambered in, waking my hipbones on the side of the door, then my head on the ceiling. I was being a klutz and Harry couldn't stop laughing.

"You alright there Anna?" Harry asked in between giggles. I pulled my dress under me and sat down comfortably in the middle seat. Then caught sight of the famous green eyes, creased slightly from the wide smile he was wearing.

"I'm fine thanks" i replied, laughing at myself a little.

"Anna" Josh said sternly, interrupting me and Harry laughing still.

When Harry stopped the car outside the school my nerves shot up again, remembering how hard these exams are supposed to be. But Harry wished me luck and so did Josh as I got out of the car and walked up to the big doors.

Halfway through my last hour before home, my mind drifted off into my favourite daydream of the day

"Anna, you'll be okay" Harry said, holding my hand taking me into the doctors for my last check up. "I'm not letting go of you"

"Harry, you're beauiful" i stated before heading into the room filled with unneeded memories. He smiled and kissed my forehead softly.

Then it carried on to different scenes of being recovered, with Harry by my side. I liked my daydreams, entering a world of being happy, like everyone else seems to be. But I think if I were to ever be happy, I would be happier because I'd know that I worked for smile.

"Put your pens down" I dropped my pen onto my paper and breathed out heavily, releasing some of my stress.

I head down the corridors, watching my feet walk over the stained floors and the cracks. I thought about Josh, and how he could never walk how I do, I thanked whoever, whatever, maybe God for how I can freely walk over cracks without being afraid of something bad happening. Josh had OCD, and that's something I knew a few people with and they were controlled by their own mind, I feel trapped and beaten, that's all I suppose.

"Anna! I need to tell you something!" I stopped in my path if the quite school halls and looked up to see my history teacher standing outside the staffroom.

"Hi sir"

"You won!"

"WHAT?" I screamed in excitement.

"You won the top student History award thing!" His large smile appeared with his dimples again and he showed me the thumbs up. I walked over to him, almost thinking of hugging my excitement into him as a proof of how thankful I was. I'd won something. "And you get to come to a dinner we are holding, free of charge but don't worry; you eat as much as you like!"

No, this can't be. My smile almost collapsed in front of him, but I stuck it back on.

"Oh!" I said, stretching my excitement.

"It's tonight, but I was going to call your mum and ask. It's good I got to tell you the good news in person-" he went off talking about who's going to be there and how his family could be there and how happy he'll be to show his top student off etcetera. All I could picture was me having to eat and then just breaking down in front of the never ending list of guests. This was going to be hard, but I couldn't miss the only thing I have accomplished this year. My family were always getting involved with government things or posh, family days outs but I would never attend because I have problems-and rich, presentable families can't be presentable with a hormonal, crazy teenager, oh no.

I could do this. Make myself proud.
