I had my rucksack hanging on my back and my navy hoody over my eyes so I couldn't really see where I was going. I felt cool though- cool and comfortable. I watched my feet snuff the concrete roads and nodded my head to the music projecting into my ears.

Lay down your head

You're not alone

Anywhere you go, I follow

We are the children of the sun

That's all you need to know

As tears trespassed the open through my eyes rain droplets fell from the sky. This song meant so much. I mean- I'm not a massive fan of Tinie Tempah or anything but this song- these lyrics- they mean so much. Every night I listen to two songs. After saying my wishes and prayers. Same love and this song-

Looking for a light that can outshine the sun

I know one day our time will come

Bought a camera to capture these cinematic nights

Set on satisfying my appetite for this lavish life

Tell me, doc, am I fit for all these flashing lights?

Like Michael said, it doesn't matter if you're black or white

We got the colors of the sun to descend above us

All we have is each other in case you happen to wonder

Let's go

They make me feel stronger. They make me feel alive. They make me feel like I am apart of something. Music had always helped me- without music I don't think I would be able to get through some nights. I loved singing too- never in front of anyone but when I'm alone.

"We are the children of the sun, that's all you need to know" I lightly harmonised with the last words- knowing the rain would cover my voice travelling far enough to reach the people in the bus stop not too far away.

Beep beep

I jolt to a stop and look towards the car horn to the left of me.

The curly boy rolled down his window- looking so warm and dry and beautiful and breathtaking and lovely.

"Hop in!" He shouted, reaching over to open his passenger door and turning the radio down.

The rain had become heavier now and the people in the bus stop were staring at the situation.

I walked over and jumped in- banging my head again.

"I'll give you lessons on how to enter a car someday, yeah?" Harry winked and started driving after strapping me in.

"Very funny. Thanks for the lift though" I said drawing together my hair trying to stop it dripping over his car seats.

"Laceys right?" He smiled looking over to me pulling up to a red light.

"How'd you know?" I let my eyebrow raise in question.

"Everyone knows" he laughed. I should have guessed the news of her party had spread further then just our year. Lacey was popular when it came to parties.

"So how have you been?"

"Since yesterday?" He laughed.

"Yeah but how have you been? Like with everything?" I wanted to know if he'd been missing me like I've missed him. I felt like if something wasn't going right in his life- I should be the one to fix it. I needed to know if he was okay, i didn't just want the normal okays and fines he gave me in front of Josh.

"If you are trying to get onto the subject about us, I like you- i like you a lot and you know that I think?" He was being surprisingly open about the subject. Not showing any sign of nervousness anymore as I watched him answer me. His glistening eyes staying on the road and his lips being dampened like normal.

"I didn't know you actually liked me-liked me"

"Was that kiss not a good enough way of explaining my feelings to you?" Rough giggles escaped him as he changed gear, quickly looking at me.

"I suppose it did the job" I laughed back.

The car came to a stop on Lacey's drive. People were already inside and it was only 4?

"Josh is busy tonight you know?" I told Harry before leaving the car.

"I know" he replied, letting the corners of his lips curl as he stepped out. He knew what I mean't. Maybe we could dance...

"So why's he here early too?" Lacey had pulled me into her kitchen, which had a hatch to the living room showing Harry and a few other people talking. She turned round checking Harry out then waited for my answer.

"He gave me a lift" i answered, not wanting to give any details away. I wasn't the one in the friendship to have anything interesting happen with the males.

"And you know who he is, right?" Her eyebrows lifted and she tucked her dirty blonde hair behind both ears. Making her brown eyes stand out more. The fact she was staring straight at me so judgementally made the colour of them dominate her features as well.

"He is Harry?" I don't know where she was going with this...

"Yes, and Harry is the dude who gets the girls and flaunts his looks off at all the parties and is funny and everything and Anna!" I had been listening but Harry was looking really cute in the other room talking to his friends about something. He was impersonating a dolphin I think?

"What?" I shouted back at Lacey.

"He will brake your heart" she seemed to think she knew what she was talking about. But the fact she was trying to persuade me Harry was a 'bad boy' when he was attempting animal impressions and laughing his cute little features around in the room next door made her sound stupid. Harry was...

Think of something cute Anna

Harry was a cupcake.
