Karma's P.O.V

I was sitting on the couch waiting for my boyfriend to come back from his mission. I was getting worried about him because he was supposed to be at home yesterday. I know he will be fine and that he will complete the mission. He had a couple of assistants too. Plus, he was in London, so I will not blame him. The weather was pretty bad yesterday so I understand.

I miss him so much. He has been gone for two weeks now.I started to think about how we met. How suprised I was seeing him there. How suprised he was seeing me there. How we had no idea that the mission would bring us so close. To be completely honest, I am kind of glad it did.

Flashback

Today I had my first duo mission. They did not tell me who my partner was. Hell, like I cared. I saw my boss enter and behind him I saw a pair of purple eyes and beautiful coral hair I missed since high school ended.

"Karma?" He questioned, looking confused.

"It's me." I replied, already thinking of many ways to tease him.

"So you two already know each other. That makes things easier. I can now skip the introduction and get on with the mission. We have a group of people who have been spreading information about us. I want you to track them down and get rid of them. Perminatly." He said, giving us the information papers. We noded and exited to examine the papers.

"Hey Second Place-Kun. What are you doing here." I said trying to break his cool. This did not work, seeing that he gave me a cold look and said nothing.

"Ah come on. Don't you dare ignore me." I said more jokingly than threatening.

"Akabane, I don't have time for your bullshit. Come on, we have to examine the papers. I want to get this done a quickly as possible." He said coldly. I can't believe how big of a fool I was to fall for this guy.

"Sure." Was the only reply he got from me. I tried to be cold around him, but his voice and looks melted me in an instant.

We examined the papers and went to their hideout. Me and mr.purple - eyed bastard snuck up to them and listened to their conversation.

"Those mafia bastards. They have no idea what we will do to them." Said the first man.

"Yea, they will pay for messing with us. We will report them to the police and then take the bounty of their heads." Said the second. This was enough. We had to wipe them of the face of the earth. I eyed my partner and he just noded.

"I am afraid we can't let that happen." Said my coral haired partner as he bashed the skulls of the two men. All of the guys stood up and grabbed their guns. I shot a few. Man, this was turning into a masquer. My dearest parner got attacked by a close range fighter. He took out his knife and stabbed the living daylight out of that son of a bitch. I was getting distracted and one of the bastards took the chance to shoot me. I was to frozen to do enything so I just stood there and closed my eyes as I waited for the inpact. But the stinging pain never came. Instead I heard a growl of pain from the figure in front of me. I opened my eyes to see my dearest friend and partner in front of me, holding his shoulder. I felt a wave of anger rush trough my body as I held up my riffle and demolished the fuckers body.

"Akabane you idiot." Growled at me. I picked him up bridal style and kissed his forehead.

"C'mon, you are strong you can make it. Plus the hideout is not that far. I can carry you there." I said giving my partner an innocent looking smile. He frowned and looked away.

After we got to the base and my dearest rival got healed, my boss told me to take him to my house and let him rest, since we were gonna be parners. At first we protested, but then, realizing we had no other choice than to listen to our boss, we gave in.

"Neat place, Akabane." He complimented my mansion.

"Probably nothing conpared to your place, but again, thanks for the compliment. " I said, giving him a smile.

"Oh, and by the way. WHAT DID THAT KISS ON THE FOREHEAD MEAN, YOU UNCAREFULL PIECE OF STUPIDITY!?!?" He yelled at me as a vein popped up on his forehead. As I remembered what I did, a blush crept on my face.

"IT MEANT 'IT LOVE YOU', YOU PURPLE - EYED BASTARD!!!" I gathered up the courage to say this. My parners eyes went wide, as he failed to process what I just said.

"Akabane, I don't know what to say. I'm happy to hear that. It's just. You never told me or anyone you were gay. I mean I love you two, but this is all so sudden. How long did you keep this secret from me? I am very confused. And if this another one of your sick games, then just so you know I mhmhm!" I cut him of by kissing him. His lips felt so smooth. He must use chapsticks. He slowly melted into the kiss. We pulled away for air. He looked deep into my eyes.

"Just say 'I love you too', you idiot." I told my blushing new boyfriend.

"I love you too, Karma." He smiled at me and leaned in for another kiss.

End Of Flashback

*Ding Dong* *Ding Dong*

A familiar sound woke me out if my thoughts. I ran over to the door. When I opened it, I saw the love of my life with bruses and cuts all over his arms and some on his face.

"Gakushuu, dear. What happened?" I asked him worried. He gave me a reassuring smile and came inside the house. I locked the door behind him.

"Now tell me everything." I said, plopping him on the couch and getting bandages and cotton to patch up and treat his wounds.

"Nothing special. Just, the guy we had to kill had a pretty strong henchman. He us the one that did all of this to me. But in the end, both bastards paid with their lives." He said it like it is an everyday thing. I kissed him.

"Don't be so reckless, Gakushuu. You could really get hurt badly. Or even get killed. I don't know what I would do if you died." I said sounding like a wife.

"Since when are you my wife?" He asked me. Teasing the living shit out of me in a moment like this, when he was fully under my mercy, wasn't the best idea. I pulled the bandage that was wrapped around his cut arm. He winced in pain.

"I was your wife. I am your wife. And I will be your wife." I replied letting the bandage go. He smiled and pulled me in for a kiss. I felt my body go numb and I fell onto him. He growled in pain and I pulled away.

"Sorry." I said, felling regret boil in the pit of my stomach. He pulled me in for a hug, wincing in the process.

"It's fine. I want to be next to you. Stay next to me. Plus how could I get mad at my wife." He was hurting himself for me, yet he did not care.

This guy, Asano Gakushuu, had me helplessly falling in love with him more every day. I felt safe and warm in his arms, and I never wanted to leave.
