Warning, this WILL be angst.

Karma's P.O.V.

It was summer. It was raining. I was stuck in the Asano estate. I was bored out of my mind. What could be worse.

Oh of course, I was sneezing and Gakushuu's father told me to stay the night so I would not catch a much worse cold. I was sipping tea that Gakushuu made me. It was good, to say the least.

But I noticed that Gakushuu was long gone and that no matter how much I called his name, he did not answer.

I got up from the couch I was laying on and set the tea cup aside. I went to Gakushuu's room, only to find the TV turned on, beaming the loud static. I went over to touch it when my hand went through the TV screen. I backed away scared of what the hell was going on.

He was in there, he had to be. Whatever is going on, I must help him. I slowly stepped trough the TV screen. When I got trough, I found myself in a dark place. There was fog everywhere and the whole place looked corrupted. I started walking around to find Gakushuu. I called his name, but there was no answer.

As I was walking, I herd a loud cry coming from a burned and crushed building that looked like the main campus, only destroyed. The cries grew louder and louder as I wondered throughout the broken down place.

"This is just some sick joke, right!?!" Yelled a familiar voice.

"I don't wanna go here!!! Stop imagining this stupid madness!!! It does not have to be like this!!!" I heard a yell that sounded like a miniature version of Gakushuu.

I ran towards the sound and hid behind the wall to spy on whatever the hell was going on.

I saw Gakushuu and a smaller boy that looked like him, only with much brighter eyes than Gakushuu's. The smaller boys eyes twinkled with life, while Gakushuu's were drained out and dull.

Gakushuu slapped the younger boy, and hard. The little boy started balling his eyes out. I just stood there and watched.

"What do you even know about me or my life!?! You are not me!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT I HAVE BEEN TROUGH, YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!" Gakushuu yelled at the crying boy. The boy puffed his chest.

"I am you!!! This is not what you want!!! Just listen to me for heavens sake!!! JUST BECAUSE I AM YOUNGER THAN YOU DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU GET TO ORDER ME AROUND!!!" The boy yelled back with just as much force as Gakushuu.

" YOU LOUSY STUPID LITTLE KID!!! LEAR SOME DAMN RESPECT AND OBIDIENCE FOR ONCE!!!" Gakushuu was yelling, starting to cry himself. His voice was draining out and his vocal quordes were dying from all the shouting.

"SHUT UP WILL YOU!?!?!? YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND YOURSELF!!! YOU LIVE ONLY BY THE RULES OF YOUR FATHER!!! SNAP OUT OF IT!!!" The little boy was trying to match Gakushuu's voice but cracked it in the process.

"YOU LITTLE BRAT, YOU WILL NOT DISOBEY ME!!!" Gakushuu screamed and started crying even harder. He raised the hand to slap him again and I have seen enough. The boy curled up in fear waiting for the impact, but I grabbed Gakushuu's hand before it could make contact with the boys face.

"K-kar-rm-ma....." Said Gakushuu shocked to see me. He started crying even harder and fell to his knees. I knelled in front of him.

"This boy is definitely you. He understands the world around him, and he knows you are not happy with who you are. He can see your sadness and anger towards your father. He knows how much you have been trough. Listen to him, Gakushuu." I told him. The little boy smiled and Gakushuu looked up at the boy.

Gakushuu's P.O.V.

That boy was me. He really was. I just didn't see it before. It is because I was scared to believe it. I stood up and walked over to the boy, kneeling before him, and hugging him tightly.

"Thank you." Were the only words I was able to let out before he disappeared. His body turned into white dust that scattered around lighting the area and filling it with life.

"Thank you." I repeated. Karma walked next to me giving me his arm to grab it.

"Come on your highness. Lets go." He said. I smiled. A real smile. Not one of those fake ones that I gave to everyone, but a real smile of joy. Joy. That is something I haven't felt in a while.

As we walked out of the TV, the device shut itself off, never to be used again. Karma suddenly hugged me. I hugged him back finaly feeling happiness again.

Then Karma did something unexpected. He pulled me into a kiss. I didn't think once, not twice, before kissing him back. Love. Something I never knew. Something I will finally get to fell and know.

We both pulled away for air and fell back on my bed. We just laid there cuddling. No words needed to be exchanged. Everything was too clear.

On that fatefull day, thanks to the rain, and Karma, my life became much brighter.
