(Tord's POV)
I sat down, waiting for her to arrive. She wasn't picking up any of my calls, I assumed that she might still be in the plane so I kept waiting. Hours pass and still no sign of her. Suddenly I heard my phone ring and it was (Y/N). I picked up, happy to hear her voice
"Hey (Y/N), what gate are you in?"
"Hey Tord. I'm at gate B69" ((Y'all see what I did there))
"Oh, I'm actually there. Where are you?"
" I'm getting out from the- TORD!"
She dropped her bags as she ran towards me. I lifted her up and hugged her really tight.
"I missed you so much Tord." she said to my ear.
"I missed you too, (Y/N)." I smiled.
We went to my car and put her bags in the car while she gets in the car, clutching to a bag. I was quite curious about what was in there but I decided to drive.

(Tord's POV)
"So, um.. Belated Happy Birthday." she said, handing the bag to me.
I opened the bag and was surprised that she got me a bottle opener, a mug with a collage of our old pictures on it, it was really nice of her to do this. I set the items down before continuing to look. There were some chocolates and a card with some money on it.
"Wow, thanks for the gift. You didn't have to get so much for me. But thanks so much."
"Well, I was gonna get you another thing but it broke. It was that gundam figure you used to want when we were little. I didn't get it last time so I decided to get it again for 20 bucks but it broke on the way to my house."
I decided to cheer her up at the same time, enjoy my belated birthday
"There is one other thing you can do, for your best friend."
She looked at me with those hella cute eyes..
"What is it?"
"I have a lil surprise for you, (Y/N)."
(Your POV)
You followed Tord to his room, filled with hentai magazines and dakimakuras. You looked around and saw Tord putting up his gaming console and said,
"Beat me in a game and I'll let you go with the absense of the figurine."
You gulped as you grabbed the controller and started playing.

(Tord's POV)
"I can't believe you beat me"
"Heh, me neither. I thought I'd lose against you."
I lost a game against my best friend. It was pretty swell that she can game well. I smiled at her victory and everything went well.
"Hey, (Y/N)?"
"Yeah, Tord?"
"So, what's your answer to a date with me?"
She leaned forward and gripped my shoulders with her hands as she said,
"From now on, you're not my best friend anymore."
I shuddered, feeling somehow rejected when she moved her hands to my face and leaned in closer,
"You're now my boyfriend."
And then she kissed me.. She really meant it. I'm finally dating my best friend, wait no, my girlfriend.
