Chapter 9: Sunday Candy~

(Your POV)

You got out of Tom's room and went in Edd's room.

"Hey Edd." you said, sitting down next to him.

"Hey (Y/N)." Edd replied. He wrapped his arm around you and sighed.

"It's been years since the last time you visited me. I remember it was when you were 13 years old."

You looked at him and groaned, "Ugh, I gave you cola cookies, you know. I baked that and gave it to you weeks ago."

Edd laughed as he took a sip of cola, "That kinda counts, I guess."

He moved closer and said, "I know you might like Tom but please be careful whenever he's drunk, okay? Because bad things can happen and I don't want you to get hurt, okay?"

You laid your head on his shoulders and said, "Thanks Cous. I really owe ya one."

Edd looked at you and smiled, "You'll owe me later on.."

"And what's that supposed to mean?" you asked.

"You'll understand when you get older." he replied.

(Matt's POV)
It was a beautiful Sunday morning. But I scrambled to look perfect for my hangout date with (Y/N). Boy am I excited. ((Matt.. What did I tell you about thinking with your dick. This isn't even a date. It's a hangout. Hangouts aren't the same as dates if you ain't dating.))

I heard the door open and when I turned around, I saw her wearing jeans, converse and a flannel.

"You ready?" she asked me.

I blushed and gulped, "Yes, I am. Sweetcheeks!"

She laughed and we went out the door. 

"So, (Y/N).." I tried to gather up my courage to talk to her, "Do you like going on walks?"

"Yeah, I really love going on walks. In fact, where are we even going?"

"Well, we're going to the park to pass time." I said, "Maybe just watch people pass by or something."

She smiled, "That sounds like fun." she said. My heart began to flutter as we continued walking. 

"Hey Matt." she said, "I already like walking with you to the park, even though we just started."

I laughed, "Well, you really are a cheerful type."

I caught her blush and I myself started feeling something weird ((Matt's got a boner OMG he kept thinking with his dick!))

(Your POV)

You guys arrived at the park and sat down on a nearby bench. You and Matt watched as people walk past, cars drive by, and other things. Matt was watching you or a while ((Yandere Matt??)) and slowly wrapped his arm around you. You laid your head on his shoulder as the both of you blushed ((Ooh, Tom and Tord gon' be angry at you)). 

"Matt?" you said.

"Yeah?" he replied.

"I got something to say." you smiled.

"I do too." he replied, "I love you, (Y/N)."

You blushed harder and said, "Well, I do too, like as a brother, y'know?"

Matt's smile faded as he started getting confused, "We're siblings?"

"No." you corrected him, "I meant you're like a brother to me. But I don't love you like boyfriend/girlfriend type of love."

Matt understood what you were saying and felt heartbroken but tried to toughen up, tears filling his eyes. "Oh, I see. Well, that was what I actually meant as well." he lied, tears falling down his cheeks.

"Matt, are you crying?" you asked, pulling away. You saw Matt quickly wiping his eyes and laughing, "No, not at all. I'm completely fine."

You started feeling bad for Matt, suddenly remembering that you forgot about Tord. 

"Um, Matt?" you asked him, hoping he wasn't mad.

He looked at you and said, "What?"

"I really loved this hangout." you answered, hugging him, "Don't worry if we can't end up together, because fate changes. You might find someone who can love you much better than I can." 

Matt started crying again, "But I don't want another one, I'd rather stay a single man being a brother to you rather than never see you again." 

You guys sobbed until Matt suddenly grabs both your arms and kissed you.
