"Hello sir. I'm Emily. Emily Parker. The transferred student." I say nervously as I walk into the director office.
"Hello Miss Parker. Sit down please." He says politely and I nod.
I spend the next ten minutes hearing some bullshits about the school rules. Finally he hands me my schedule and my locker key. I thank him as I leave his office.
The warning bell rings and everyone start heading toward their classes. I pull out my schedule to read the number of the classroom. It's 243. Shit, I'm gonna be late and I still have no idea where to go. I really hated being late.
"Excuse me. Do you have an idea where classroom 243 is ?" I ask the blond girl passing by. She looked like a queen bee with her luxury clothes and her perfectly curled hair. I bet that she is one of the most popular girls in this school.
"Oh, so you are the transferred student. Am I wrong ?" She asks studying my outfit with a look filled of disgust.
Ugh. Her look is making me sick. If I wasn't late for my first class I would have gladly taught her some manners.
"No.. I mean you're not wrong I'm the new student" I answer a little worry for being late.
"We are at the same class then. Follow me." She says and I nod.
"I'm Naomi by the way." She says without even looking at me. I'm positive that she is a queen bee.
"Emily."
"Whatever." She replies as she opens the door.
The first thing that I felt was his agitated hazel eyes on me. The guy who called me "weird" earlier. He is sitting in the last row chatting with another good looking guy sitting just in front of him. How the fuck can he have such a perfectly symmetrical face. He's wearing a grey shirt that shows off his muscles. I wonder how he looks topless. what am I thinking about. I just couldn't stop myself from looking at him. I had a feeling that he got better the more I looked.
He breaks our eye contact by turning his face to look at Naomi as she walks towards him. She sits on his laps and pull him into a passionate kiss. Ugh, for god sake go get yourselves a hotel room, I say to myself. I don't know why, but I had the feeling that his eyes weren't totally closed.
All my "new" classmates seemed used to them but me. Anyway they sure are the sexiest couple ever. Everyone get to their seats as the teacher walks into the classroom and the lesson begins.
The first two hours went smoothly since I was good at maths. I haven't found any difficulties with the lesson, I've even solved all the problems. I think maths is the only thing I'm good at.
As the bell rings, everybody head to the door to take their break except me and the hazel eyes. When I was about to start a conversation with him, my phone vibrate. It's a message.
Heard you are officially attending Mayar high school. Don't forget Emmy, I have eyes everywhere. XO. -J
J. Fucking Jason. How could he possibly know that? Did he hired someone to stalk me? Or does he know somebody in this fucking school? How did he even got my new phone number? My muscles tense at the thought. I'm so pissed off and mad. Can't he just leave me alone?
"You received a text from your boyfriend saying he wants to end it with you ?" The other asshole says, "Oh sorry, nerds like you doesn't have boyfriends huh." He joins Naomi and her group of girls outside into laughter.
That asshole always gets on my nerves. Why does he have to be such a jerk all the time. I just want to put this guy on his place. How can I possibly stand him for the rest of the year ? He is beyond annoying. Calm down Emily. Calm down. He is the least of my worries right now. I should think of a way to settle things with Jason. I should know better that running away from him is useless, so I opted for the confrontation.
The rest of the classes were all boring especially the litterateur one since the topic was about "love". I personally don't believe in true love, that love without conditions as they say.
I leave the school at 3 PM and don't feel like going back home. My sister is probably still at work and I have no desire to find one of my mom's "friends" walking around completely naked in our apartment. So I decide to call Vanessa, one of my fewest friends on my old high school, to get lunch with me.
