I've been walking for hours in this blizzard and couldn't find any shelter, as I walk I tripped.
"What's this? Are you lost little girl?" a man asked me but I could smell that he is a vampire a level E.
"Go away" I spat glaring at him.
"Feisty I see. Well I'll enjoy hearing your screams while I drink your blood". I tch-ed I have no strength to fight him off. I just close my eyes waiting for my death but it never came. When I open my eyes I saw a man with ash-brown hair and hazel eyes. Then I stiffen. Uncle Kaien?!
"Are you alr- is that you Kireina?! Oh my god what are you doing here in this blizzard?! Your parents must be worried sick!"
"I doubt that"
"Huh why?"
"Why would they worry a monster like me? They hated me and abuse me, what's the reason of being with them if they only bring pain to you?"
"They did that? But from what I remember your parents love you"
"Yeah they did. But when Yuki was born my eyes turn sapphire blue and they started hating me". Then he carries me and put me inside his warm coat.
"Let's go somewhere to get you warm" he said and we started walking. I feel so tired and I drift to sleep.
Kaien Pov
I can't believe Juri and Haruka did that to their own child. We'll I'll be surprise if my own child red-brown eyes suddenly turn to blue. But that shouldn't be the reason to hate and abuse the child. She probably can't take it anymore and so she ran away. Wait blue eyes? The same blue eyes like Rido Kuran? That must be the reason they hated her, but they shouldn't treat her like that. Poor child.
Then we arrived at the Kiryuu's residence, but before I could knock someone opens the door and saw Izumi and Seiichi (A/N: I randomly named them since I don't know their real names).
"We sense your presence and a pureblood" Seiichi stated then Izumi saw Kireina.
"Is that Kireina?! My god she looks pale! Put her at the sofa I'll just get some blankets" then she left.
"What happen?" Seiishi asks as I put Kireina at the sofa. And Izumi came back with blankets.
"It seems she ran away from home"
"Why?" ask Izumi and I told them what Kireina has told me.
"I can't believe they did that to their own child" Izumi said her fist clench tight. "
So what now? We can't just give Kireina to them after what they did to her" Seiichi ask.
"Well I would like to adopt her but seeing that the Kuran's might be looking for her, it will be hard hiding her from them" I told them.
"Then why don't let her stay here with us? We'll adopt her. What do you think dear?" ask Izumi.
"Why not she'll be safer from us"
"Well I need to leave for now. Take care of her"
"We will"
"I guess I'll have to do some research about her eyes. It's pretty odd that her normal red-brown eyes turn blue when her sister was born" I said and stood up.
"I hope you can find some answers for her sake" Seiichi said as the two couple escort me at the door. "Then I'll see you soon" then I left.
Kireina Pov
It's been a year already when I started living with the Kiryuu's and they treat me like their own daughter. I met Yagari Toga, Zero-nii and Ichi-nii sensei and he also taught me how to defend myself if I'm in danger. And ever since I left the Kuran I never see or heard from them and that's good. I'll never going back to that 'hell hole'.
Today is my 6th birthday and mom and dad prepare a party for me. Yes, I call them mom and dad since they adopt me. They are kind and loving family. I met them a year before I left the Kuran's. They helped me when I got lost and wondering around the forest. At first they thought I was human and took care of me but after they found out I was a vampire and a pureblood they didn't change how they treat me even though they are vampire hunters. They say that I'm quite different from other vampires and said that I'm welcome to their home.
And uncle Kaien which I call him 'Papa' since he kept on nagging me to call him that. Anyhow he visits me once or twice a month and he never told my 'family' about me.
We are at the dining table celebrating my birthday, eating, talking and laughing. It's been a while since I celebrated my birthday like this.
"Kireina, close your eyes" mom said and I close my eyes. I heard some sounds but I ignore it.
"You can open your eyes now" dad said and when I open my eyes I saw a box wrap by a sky blue wrapper.
"Can I open it?"
"Well of course since it's yours" Zero-nii said with a 'duh' tone and I just giggled. When I open it I saw a beautiful blue snowflake necklace. It was beautiful.

"You like it? Both Ichiru and Zero chose it" mom said.
"I love it! Thank you!" then I hug my brothers and my parents.
I was so happy to feel this again. Spending time with family who loves you back. But it didn't last long after what happened that tragic night.
