Chapter Eight: Regret

Nicole's Pov
It had been three days since I told Cody the news and with my surprise he hadn't tried to talk with me.
I walked into school with Victoria and suddenly almost everyone's eyes were glued on me. I saw a few girls in the corner whispering to one another.
"What the hell is everyone's issue?" I asked.
A group of the cheerleaders walked be and snickered.
"Whore!" One of them faked cough.
"Bitch!" I yelled back at them. I stormed down the hallway into me and Victoria's next class. I sat in one of the desk, my blood boiling. I looked over to my left to see one of my classmates looking at me.
"What Trevor?!" I snapped.
He bit his lip and sat in a desk closer to me. He leaned over my way a little.
"Are you aware of the rumors going around?" He whispered. He looked around to make sure no one could here.
"What rumors?" I asked.
"Word on the street is that Cody Califorie knocked you up." Trevor replied.
I just glared at him for a second.
"Who the hell told you that?" I asked with a flat tone.
"Well my brother was telling me on the way to school this morning, he said one of his friends told him." Trevor had a somewhat sad look on his face as he told me this.
I can't believe Cody,why would he just go and tell people our business? Wait till I see his bitch ass in the hallways or something.
*at lunch*
"Cody is such an asshole, this is a private thing to get through. Why would he just up and tell people?" I asked in frustration as I ate a ceasar salad.
Victoria shrugged and took a sip of her coke. She went to say something but stopped and looked behind me.
I whipped my head around to see Cody's ass talking to some girl. I got up from my table and stormed right up to him.
"Hey Cody!" I said sarcastically. I put my hands on my hips and glared at him.
"What the hell do you want?" He asked turning his back to me.
"We need to talk....now!" I demanded.
"Talk about what? How you don't know who the Father of your baby is so you blame me?" Cody said loudly. It was enough to get the attention of some of the kids in the cafeteria. I looked around in embarrassment.
"Go find your baby Daddy and leave me alone hoe." Cody said waving his hand at me. Some of the kids broke into laughter. I just turned and ran away. Victoria coming after me.
I ran into the girl's restroom, tears streaming down my face.
"Oh my god Nicole, are you ok?" Victoria asked coming into a stall with me.
"He is such a dick! He has slept around way more than me and I am the hoe?" I cried. Victoria just held me in her arms.
Why did I sleep with Cody? Why loose something so valuable to a guy who is such trash? The only good thing that is going to come out of this is our child. This is going to be a long nine months though, I can already tell, and I don't even have a baby bump yet.....
