Justin's POV



I was walking along when someone bumped into me. "oh I'm sorry!" I looked down to see a girl about 17. she had dark chocolate brown hair that went to her chest and green eyes that looked like emeralds. wow she is so pretty. "oh it's uh ok." I replied back. I just kept staring at her. her features are so defying. usually people on this planet are ugly but not her she's like stars in the sky. "uh is their something on my face?" I snapped back to reality. "uh no I was just looking at your eyes?" her eyes really that's the best I could do? "uh well ok I guess?" "sorry they are just really pretty like emeralds." she blushed. and I giggled. wait? am I flirting with her? I've never done this before. "uh my names justin." she looked up and smiled. "oh I'm kandy." wait kandy? "kandy like the food you eat?" Her smile was replaced with a grin. "Yeah like the food, go ahead make fun of me I don't care." why would I do that? it's cute. "why would I do that? it's a cute name." she giggled. yep I'm flirting. I need to stop. "well thank you, you'd be the first." really? I am? "well it's a pleasure to be." she just stood their and smiled. she has a cute smile. "well justin I have to get home my moms gonna be waiting for me." she turned and walked off. wait I have no where to go. ask her! I jogged up to kandy. "hey!" she turned around. "uh yeah?" "I have no place to go and I was wondering if you new a place?" she stood their and eyes started to widen. "you have no place?" "nope." I said popping the p. "uh well I can ask my mom if you can stay at our guest room?" her house? "If that's ok with you?" yes! "oh uh yeah I would love to. thanks for the support." she nodded and grabbed my arm. sparks I felt sparks, but why? could she be the one thing my parents told me I might find down here? Could she possibly be the one? my MATE? "come on lets go justin! I have to get home!" she dragged me along with her as we talked the whole entire time. it was like I already new her an we have been friends forever.




*Next day*




Kandy POV




I woke up to a beautiful Sunday morning. ugh I have school tomorrow though. but hey! Two weeks until Christmas vacation!


I jumped out of bed and went downstairs. I could smell food. oh how I love food. it's the next best thing. first comes my love of boy bands and singers. yeah I'm 17 im gonna like that stuff. I walked into the kitchen to see mom cooking pancakes and Justin sitting at the table. hmm early riser ey? well I don't care I like to sleep its my hobbie. haha just kidding I like to draw.


I sat down at the table across from justin. "goodmorning!" my mom blurted out dew to silence. "uh morning I guess." I just woke up so I'm crabby. "mornin." I looked up to see justin smiling. does he ever not smile? "uh yeah you too." I sat and leaned my head on the table while I waited for my food. "tired?" I heard justin say. "Yea" I just mumbled.

"HERE YA GO!" my mom set some delicious pancakes in the middle of the table. my mouth is watering. "dig in!" I grabbed about three in them and put then on my plate and drenched them in syrup and butter. I was half done when I looked up to see justin just looking them like they were from another planet. "uh are you gonna eat?" he looked up "um what are they?" are you freakin kidding me? he doesn't know what a pancake is? this boy is weird. "their pancakes ya know fluffy batter you cook then eat?" he looked confused. "I can this?" oh my gosh I'm gonna smooth his face in his food if he doesn't start eating. "yessss we eat it all the time. you've never eaten one?" he fiddled with his fingers. "no." wow 19 years old and acts like he's 11? "well then try them duh." he scrunched his nose. haha it was so cute.

Justin's POV



Really they look disgusting! we don't eat stuff like this where I'm from. we eat like this green blob stuff but I don't maybe earth food is better?

I grabbed a few with my fork and say them on my plate. I cut a piece up and was about to eat it when kandy said something. "arnt you gonna put butter or syrup on it?" I have to put more disgusting stuff on it? "uh yeah oops forgot ha." I fake laughed. I grabbed the butter and syrup and put in the food. I took the piece I had already cut up and dipped it.

Here I go. Kandy and her mom were staring at me. was I really this interesting? I finally ate the food and swallowed. "well?" I have never eating something so delicious in my entire life! I grabbed more and scarfed it down. "is say that's a yes." kandy just giggled. "I can't believe you've never had those?" she continued eating as do did i.
