Set Free For Revenge

  Not far off from Magnolia, a cloaked young lady was running through a forest before anyone could stop her. She is called Mari, and was nearly at her destination when two dog like creatures were blocking her way. Mari used her power that controls plants to attack the beasts. She hurled them both away and continued on her long journey that was finally coming towards an end. As she skittered to a stop, she removed her hood and looked at the massive cave right in front of her. She quickly ran in moving through the many routes that were in the cave. Mari once again skittered towards a stop to see a dead end. She pulled out a small ball from her pocket and tossed it at the wall. An explosion, smoke, and the wall was gone. But behind that wall was a room that had a sarcophagus in the middle. Mari walked towards the sarcophagus and placed a small blue necklace on top. She began to chant and instantly the sarcophagus began to glow bright, and then died down. The top to the sarcophagus was instantly thrown straight up with tremendous strength, and shattered to the ground. And out stepping from the sarcophagus was a headless body. It moved its arms through the air looking for its head, and Mari once again reached into her pocket and pulled out tiny seeds and tossed them into the hole where the head should have been, and from that hole sprung a big orange pumpkin with a devilish smile.

" My love, your alive, it took forever but your alive, Jack O Fright." Mari said as she ran into the chest of Jack O Fright. " Love you say?" He said as he arched his eye. "Yes, I've heard about you in my favorite story, I just knew you were real and came to bring you back to get your revenge." She said with a loving smile. Jack put his hands on her shoulder and said," And revenge I shall get, but dear girl, you made a mistake of calling me love," Mari gasped with a shocked expression, she was then pushed back to look at Jack, his hands still on her shoulders," For there is only one for me, but she is not part of this world anymore. And I will not love another." Mari clasped her hands at her chest pleading for it not to be true." Aye, so disappear from my sight."Jack pushed Mari back, she tripped, and fell down. Soon green fog rose around her, she screamed a blood curdling scream and vanished. 

  In the distance of the cave, there were echoing of foot steps running, approaching quickly,"Well, I think this is my queue to leave," As Jack O Fright was about to leave, he saw a shimmer and walked towards it. He picked up the blue necklace, "Tamarack." he whispered and vanished in his fog. When he disappeared, a group of men came in and were astonished when they saw the scariest thing on Earthland, was missing. Only one managed to speak and said," Dear lord, warn the council, warn the whole town of Magnolia, warn that the creature of nightmare is freed!"
