After regrouping back at Natsu's house, they decided to question some of the towns people about the strange things that are happening. Wendy would be helping them out as soon as she wakes up some of the others and Carla. The small team split up and ask as many people they can find. But there really wasn't much to work with. The people outside are either staring off in space or running away as the two approach them, saying weird and bizarre things.

"This is impossible. The people are to scared to even talk to us or they're oblivious to the fact that we are even there." Lucy said as she slumped over a bench. They had been at this for hours and they had no leads on the strange occurrence. "So why don't we just trap one of the towns people and beat the answer out of them." said Natsu," Aye! That seems like a great plan." Said Happy. Lucy just face palmed. They want to help the people, not hurt them. But trapping them seemed like a good idea. Natsu thought it was kinda funny how Lucy looked when she was annoyed. He dare not say that to her, in fear that she will take that the wrong way and kick him far away. But she was cu-, wait, he had to stop thinking about this before he starts to feel weird again. This is why he always told Lucy she was weird. She made him feel weird inside. That mission they went on, he was tense the whole time. Wondering if Lucy would get hurt or something.

From a distance away, two people in a cloak started to walk towards the bench the two mages were at. When they reached the bench, one spoke out, "You two wouldn't happen to be from Fairy Tail? Would you?" The two mages nodded their heads, "That's just perfect." The cloaked people raised their arms at the two mages and blasted them both. Natsu jumped out from the blast and attacked the cloaked people with his Fire Dragon's Claw, knocking them both down to the ground. "What the hell was that for! I thought you needed help!" Natsu yelled at their opponents. "Aye!" argued Happy," Lucy you're heavy!" Happy whined as he carried Lucy in the air. "Shut up you stupid cat! Just put me down if I'm so damn heavy!" Lucy yelled back at Happy. And he did so by dropping her down right next to Natsu, ready to fight.
