SEBASTIAN DREW SMALL circles on Reyna's stomach with the tip of his finger as she lay in bed. Reyna watched him with a smile on her face, her love for him seeming to grow with the small gesture. Since she had found out she was pregnant, things were beginning to fall into place for her.
The memory of the incident with Chase still tortured her, but Reyna tried desperately not to focus on it. Though it was difficult to completely set it aside, she managed to find a sense of comfort and ease when she thought about Sebastian and the family they were about to start together. At first she had been scared of her pregnancy, as she didn't believe she was ready to take on such a responsibility, but she knew that as long as she had Sebastian by her side she would be okay. There was no one else in the world Reyna could imagine starting a family with except for Sebastian. She was ready to start her life with him.
"Do you have names in mind?" Sebastian asked her.
Reyna raised a brow at him. "We've already had this discussion."
"I'm just trying to refresh your memory, Rey; I wasn't sure how far back that concussion of yours stretched on," Sebastian smirked, turning his attention back to the invisible shapes he continued to draw on her abdomen.
"I remember perfectly," Reyna told him. She bit her lip and placed her hand in Sebastian's shoulder length hair, playing with random strands.
Sebastian hummed in content and laid his head down on her lap. "Theodor and Mariana."
"Yes—Theodor and Mariana."
"I want Theodor."
Reyna chuckled and ruffled his hair. "I'm aware, and I have been for years now."
Sebastian glanced up at her for a quick second, a small smile on his face. "I've always wanted a son so I could be there for him the way my father wasn't there for me. I want a son so I can be the father that actually serves a purpose in his life. I want to mean something to him."
"I know, Sebastian," Reyna spoke softly, running her hand gently through his hair.
Sebastian stopped his hand movements and looked up at Reyna, his serious blue eyes locking with her green ones. "I'm glad you're the mother of my child."
"I'm glad you're the father of my child," Reyna replied with a quiet giggle.
An automatic smile appeared on Sebastian's face at the sound of it and he sat up on the mattress, maneuvering himself so that he was sitting across from her, his legs crossed in front of him. "Fifteen years ago I never would've imagined falling in love with you. You were only just supposed to be my best friend, and you still are, but I'm so glad that you're also more than that."
Reyna placed a hand on the side of his face, using the pad of her thumb to trace over the soft skin of his face. "I love you, Sebastian. . .so, so much."
Sebastian smiled widely and pulled her close to him, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist. "I love you more, Reyna Foster."
"I love you endlessly," Reyna teased as she pressed a kiss to his lips.
"I would hope so," Sebastian chuckled.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?"
Sebastian nodded and pressed another kiss to her lips before pulling away. "Are you ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be, Stan."
