Sky) I was at the base when we got the call. It was a search and destroy mission, no more info. Just find the disturbance and take it out. But most missions are like that nowadays. I told the squad how we would tackle this mission. Thanks to my friend, I knew what was in there. I’ve heard idle gossip about people going in there and never coming out. And since they tested that cursed flu cure in there, well...I think we can leave it at that. I saw for myself that the rumors were true, because my friend went in there months ago, and I haven’t seen him since.
I awoke from my nightmare I haven’t been able to sleep sense this all happened.
The memory of that day still haunts me. I got up from my bed and walked outside, It was a normal day, well as normal as they got in this hell of a place. I walked around the compound to stretch my legs only thats what everyone thought I would walk to the test lab where the graves of my squad lay. I go there to tell them how I’m doing and how the world is screwed. I know their dead and can’t hear me but it’s good to just remember the old days.
Trillian) I had noticed that Sky was looking down, he wasn’t acting like himself anymore. Especially since that infection spread through the Area. Something was up. Every time I tried to ask him something, he either made some stupid excuse or didn’t even acknowledge I was there. So eventually I gave up until I finally pinned him down and asked him what was wrong.
Sky) The burning rage inside of me wanted to make me shoot even Trillian. I just looked up at him, rage flashing in my eyes and I said,
