"Does everyone have their outfits? Shoes? Yes?"

I glanced down at my small bag, shifting restlessly from foot to foot. Today was the day of the interview, and we were finally allowed to leave the suite. Stella and I had been cooped up for a couple weeks now, and I was going crazy.

Everyone mumbled their answers and Stanley bustled us out the door. We were joined by more body guards than usual, and the car they had us sit in was more professional and heavy duty than the luxurious and comfy ones we were used to. There was an identical car in front of us and another behind us, and they stayed with us the entire drive. Everyone was a little tense, the jokes and laughter just a bit forced. Stanley ran over our interview guidelines with us again, but my gaze remained on the bag at my feet.

The 60 Minutes crew had us bring two outfits to wear: the first was a comfy one, more of a casual outfit that we were all wearing now. It was for the part of the interview where we'd be outside, walking around, doing some artsy shots for the camera. The second outfit was a lot nicer, and we were to wear it once they took us indoors and filmed us individually and as a group.

"Everyone got it?" Stanley restated as we pulled into the studio. Again, we nodded, and he sat back. "Good. Don't embarrass yourselves just yet, we're doing a follow up interview a week after the trial."

The guards quickly secured the area, and we were allowed out. The man who was going to interview us, Cory Rogers, was very nice, thanking us over and over again for taking the time to do the interview.

"Now, we have a lot of questions planned, so why don't we get started?" Cory gestured to the path behind him, and we left our bags with Stanley and the show's crew and followed behind him. The camera crew was already set up, the director marking out angles for the cameras and spots for us to stand.

"First, we're going to be doing close up shots individually, as pairs, and small groups and then the full group." The director explained, and I sat back on the low stone wall. This felt more like making a movie than an interview. However, all the boys were going along with it, so I did as well.

"First, let's have the boys come up here. Alright, I need you to walk down this path, Harry push your hat back, Louis step in front of Niall..."

The director had them start at the beginning of the path, Harry, Louis and Zayn in front with Niall and Liam behind them. Unfortunately, they were only able to get a few seconds of serious footage at a time because Louis kept making jokes. After a few stern looks from Stanley, Louis finally quieted down, but not by much. Then they left the walk, and they had to stand in front of a garden looking serious. Again, it never lasted long, considering Louis was making jokes about this "garden" they were looking at. Really, it was more of just a collection of dead plants covered in snow with a few pine bushes and trees surrounding it. Stella and I had to do the same things, and we were unable to keep a straight face because Louis kept making faces at us. The director made us face away from them and walk the opposite way, but we could still hear Louis mimicking the director. Then, I was forced to put my sling on (even though I don't have to wear it anymore) so that dampened my mood.

Niall and Stella had to walk around the garden path next, and then Liam and I, Niall and I, Louis and I, Stella and Zayn, Louis and Liam, Louis and Harry, Niall and Liam, Zayn and Niall, and finally Harry, Stella and I. I was ready to shout at the directors for the repetitiveness, but Liam's hand on my back calmed me down. They were only doing their job to ensure the audience would get a good glimpse into our lives. They asked us a couple quick questions, mostly about the people we were standing with, and how we felt about them and our favorite memories with them. Once they were done with those, everyone had individual shots standing next to an old stone fountain. I was easily bored out of my mind. No wonder only old people watched this show.
