Today I had a doctors appointment. Today I was going to find out the sex of the baby. Carter was too excited to have a boy. Honestly, I want a boy too.

"Ight come on bae" Carter grabbed his car keys and we headed to the hospital.

---

I was sitting on the hospital bed waiting for the doctor to come in and out that blue shit on my stomach.

The door opens revealing a female doctor who was pretty. Dark brown long hair and u can tell it was real, dark skin and dark eyes.

"Mr. And Mrs. Carter are you ready to find out the sex of your baby" she smiled at us.

Carter smiled nodding his head which made me smile.

I laid back and pulled my shirt above my stomach.

She put the jell on my stomach. Damn thts shit was cold. I looked at the screen and saw a baby. Carter's face was picture perfect. His eyes were glowing an he had the biggest smile I ever saw him with.

"Looks like you're having a baby boy".

Me and Carter looked at each other and smiled. He leaned over and kissed me long and passionately.

"Baby Carter" I said rapping my arms around Carter's neck.

----

Me and Carter pulled up to our new house that had our furniture in it for a week now but we didn't move in until 2 days ago.

Carter walked over to my side of the car and opened the door for me, grabbing my hand and walking me inside the house.

I walk up yo the bedroom, kick my hoes off and lay on the bed.

I was waiting for Carter but he never came upstairs. I get up and walk downstairs to look for him.

I see him sitting on the coach with his face in his hands. I sit next to him putting my head against his.

"Baby what wrong?" I ask him.

He shakes his head slowly. "Ma... She has cancer" he says.

My heart just dropped. "Bae, no!" I start crying.

He raps his arms around me comforting me. "Baby, u gotta be strong for the both of us, cause god knows I can't" he says.

"I-i cant. I don't want to have to think that there's a possibility that we might loose her bae. I can't" I tell him.

"How long has she had it?"

"2 months, she didn't want to tell us because we were so excited about the baby. And it spread and she said she wanted to tell us now" he told me.

"She's in the hospital?" I ask.

He looked down at the ground.

"Yeah. They say she only has 4 months because it's spreading rapidly and they can't stop it anymore"....,
