Carter's POV:

I was on my way home feeling guilty as fuck. I already know Tamika is going to ask me why am I home and not on my business trip and I'm going to have to lie to her once again. I pull up to the drive way and unlock the front door.

"Bae?" I call for her.

"BAEE??" I'm guessing she's not here.

I turn my phone on and see that she called me.

I call her back and she doesn't answer.

Tamika's POV:

"August you have a great voice" I tell him.

"Thank you" he says.

"So what's you're favorite song so far now that I've played u all of them?" he added.

"Testify... cause it really explains what you've been through your whole life and it really shows the real you" I say.

"Thank you. That's what I really wanted was for every one to know my story and not to just think that I'm just like these other niggas out here singing"

"Yeah I feel you August I really do. You've had a tough ... *Phone rings*"

it's Carter. imma just have to call him back.

Me and August were just bonding for hours getting to know each other. He's really a down ass nigga. I thought he would be cocky and shit but nah he was chill .

I decided to call Carter back.

Tamika I called u earlier. why didn't you answer ?

-Because I'm at the studio with August and we were talking. It would of been rude to sit there and be on the phone while he's talking to me bae.

Well when are u coming home?

-Wait you're home?

Yeah I came back. I didn't wanna spend a week away from you bby

-Aw bae I'll come home now

I hang up and walk next to August who was listening to his last song.

"Alright August I have to get home but I had a great time with you today" I say.

"alright ma, I'll hit you later?"

"alright". I give him a hug and then I was on my way home.

Carter POV:

I'm pacing back and forth. I don't k would what to do. I hear a knock on the door so it must be Tamika but she has a key why is she knocking. I unlock the door seeing a half naked Nicole.

"You thought I was gonna let you go that easy, I told you, whatever I want I get" she says.

"Bitch you need to get the fuck out my house right now" I tell her.

She pushes past me and heads upstair.

I follow her upstair and she's laying down on the bed with nothing on.

"Listen I'm only gonna tell you once to get the fuck out my house. I'm done playing games with you" I yell.

she gets up and pushes me on the bed and get ontop of me.

Tamika's POV :

I unlock the front door and drop my bags on the kitchen island. I walk upstairs looking for Carter.

I open my bedroom door to see a naked bitch

i spaze out. i grab that bitch by her hair and pull her on the floor. I'm punching her non stop and i can't control it. Carter pulls me off of her.

"Carter I can't believe you would do this to me. I'm done"

I go downstairs grab my bad and my keys and I'm out.

August POV :

I was listening to my last song when k get a call from Tamika.

-Hello?

hey August

it's sound like she's been crying

-Ma what happened?

Carter cheated on me,  and I-

I cut her off.

-Come to the studio and tell me all about it.

Tamika's POV :

I pulled up to the studio trying to get myself together.

I finally get myself together and walk Into the studio to see August waiting for me.

"Hey" I say flashing him a fake smile.

"hey, sit down and tell me what happened"

I tell him everything that happens.

"You don't deserve any of that Ma, you really dont" he says.

"You deserve better" he adds.

"Wait ma can u hand me my notebook. You just inspired me to write a song"

I hand him his notebook.

And I see yah home girls tranna reach yah, but you don't hear non of that.

He starts singing it to me and his voice was lmfao.

"August I love that song" I tell him.

"So you have somewhere to stay?" he asks me.

"Not really" I get upset again just remembering Carter cheating on me.

"Well your staying with me tonight, come on" he demands.

"Well damn" I laugh.
