Tears of heaven

Chapter 1

Jonathan trips and falls on his face. A series of laughter erupts from the hallway, papers flying from his grip.

'Great, I'm the laughing stock of the school again. I though we left this all behind.'

He sighs, and begins picking up his papers when a pair of new white converses walk into his view. Jonathan glances up.

"Hello Jonathan " Alec sneers , "Nice to see we were right about you after all."

His group of buddies explode with laughter.

Jonathan rolls his eyes and stands up, "Thanks Alec, nice to see you too." Sarcasm dripping off of his voice. He turns to walk away from the situation when he's grabbed from behind and shoved into a locker.

"You listen here," Alec was breathing hard, he leaned in and whispered in his ear. "You're lucky you're just a sophomore, or I would've bashed your head in."

He though of his options and decided to stay quiet. Alec shoved him roughly as the bell rang for class to start "Oh, look at that, Farties late for class! There goes 'perfect student and teachers pet award' for the year." He walked away snickering.

'Not everyone can pass school because they are on the football team.' He scoffed and ran to class, determined to beg the teacher to take his tardy off.

The rest of his day at school passed. Not much had changed since last year, he was picked upon by Alec, a year older than him because he was smart... And also because the whole school found out that Jonathan was tutoring Alec to bring his Biology grades up to prevent being kicked off the team. Alec of course was furious, as soon as he got his grades up, he fired Jonathan, no that he cared. Alec was never nice to him in the first place.

He slammed the door as he walked into the house.

"Mom! Home!" As if slamming the door wasn't enough.

He sighed and sulked up the stairs to his bedroom where he promptly dived face first into his bed. Groaning as he rolled over.

'Only four and a half hours of homework and studying. If I can get it done before nine, then I can watch and graph the stars before I go to sleep. Then I get to wake up to another day in hell.'

He bolted off his bed when he heard a crash come from downstairs.

"Mom?!"
