𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐲 ||𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚||

prologue

The news spread like wildfire that day 6 years ago. Nobody expected it, it just washed over the entire nation, leaving everyone worried.

"..yesterday evening a boy by the name Hinata Shoyo went missing in the jungle while on the trip with his family"

Everybody started panicking, sending their regards to the family, even doing as much as flying to Brazil themselves to join the search parties.

"..The 12 year old went missing when he and his sister strayed off the main path. His sister says that after a while they heard a scary sound which made them run, once she had finally stepped on the path, her brother was not behind her.."

It was all over the news, newspapers, internet websites, all possible social media. It especially grew in Brazil too as the locals who knew the area rushed to help, he was still a child after all.

"..the police have investigated the place where the boy was last seen by his sister, the police dogs had picked up the scent, but it disappeared after around 300 meters.."

They found some of his belongings shortly after, a hat, his shoes, a used water bottle and a small bag with camera. The last picture was taken after he had been separated from his sister, it was of him. The terrified look on his face made everyone see just how scared he was.

"...the search parties have been sent out, but so far the have been no news. If you have any information about where Hinata Shoyo is or could be, please contact the...."

The search went on for weeks, after two months the boy was officially declared dead by the authorities, but they still went on searching for his body or at least his remains. After they failed to find anything, the case was closed.

The family decided to hold a public funeral, thousands of people showed up. They all carried flowers in their hands, all white except the one in the middle which was orange.

The story didn't quiet down for months, and only after 2 years it finally went quiet.

It's been 6 years since the tragedy and only now will the world know what truly happened to Hinata Shoyo, the jungle boy.
