Okay, Pokémon writers, you better have an idea of what's happening because you've been faced with this:

Okay, so we all know Alola is coming. We all know XY & Z is ending. Guess what?
What are you going to do, Pokémon?
So I'm sure this has been faced in all of our minds. What is going to happen to Amourshipping?
Two routes this can go down with.
1. Canon, Serena goes with Ash to Alola. 2. Not canon, Serena stays in Kalos.
Listen. I really keep telling myself this over and over ago.
They've built up this arc SO much, honestly. It's the first canonical crush that a female main character has had on Ash. That's just crazy. Pokémon usually doesn't do that.
Why in the world would they build up something this far and attract this much attention only to trash it?
Guys, they can't just drop Amourshipping, nor Serena's character. Why?
The next female companion will be way underrated.
Can't have a crush on Ash. Can't have a very strong character arc. Can't be a performer.
From Dawn and May, can't be a coordinator.
From Iris and Misty, can't be a gym leader.
From May, Misty, and Iris, can't have a sharp attitude.
From Serena and Dawn, can't have a soft attitude.
The options are running out. Completely.
And they'll lose so many viewers if they keep Ash another year. Honestly, if they keep Serena and Ash another year. I would give it up.
Good things come to an end. And let me just say, with my whole opinion:
Can we PLEASE end with Ash now?
I want to see the characters succeed this time. All my heart goes to the characters meeting their goals after so long. Honestly.
I love all of the Kalos gang. Ash is, of course, the original and all of our favorite character. Serena is an AMAZING performer and we all (the Amourshippers) want her to be with Ash. Clemont and Bonnie have such unique characters.
Please, Pokémon. Let Ash win the Kalos League. Let Serena become Kalos Queen. Let Clemont rule the Lumiose City Gym for however long. Let Bonnie become a Pokémon trainer:
It should end here.
It should end in Kalos.
Plus, how cool would it be for a fresh start on the anime? So many new characters to create! So many to introduce! A whole new plot line!
