“You see, me and the other clones get bored here, so we made a game. You start out as level one. All your abilities are locked except for the blade and scanner, and the only thing you can transform into is human. You must find upgrades in the middle world or level up. The upgrades usually look like data storage devices. You can’t use your wings until a later level either.
Also, there are lives and health. You start with three lives, you can get 1ups, and if you run out of lives you die like any other person from Hell.
You each will be assigned to different places in the middle world. If you meet and kill another dǽmon who is a higher level or more advanced than you, you get an upgrade. Kill one the same level and same advancements, you get a one up. Kill one lower level than you, you get nothing.
You will get experience points from doing jobs. Get enough xp and you level up. Leveling will get you a specific upgrade that can’t be found elsewhere. Your level, or lvl, health points, or hp, and your experience, or xp, are all showed on your LOKI” the Hitler-Devil finished.
That speech aroused a bit of outrage.
“How can you give us all this power and then take it away?” a bald man with sinister eyebrows angrily complained.
“Like this.” The Hitler-Devil pressed a button on a remote control. Our wings folded in, our laser was suck on scan, and our blades couldn’t fire.
“What the F%&#???” shouted the bald man. “Give me those powers back or I’ll beat the hell out of you! Oh, S%#^,” As he saw two guards coming after him he tried to run away.
“You have said hell three times in an improper way. Since you are crippled, you may no longer be a dǽmon.”
“I’m not crip- oh, mother%&#er!!!” The guy screamed as one of the guards shot him in the kneecap with a gun that had materialized out of nowhere. The guard pressed a button on a remote control much like the Hitler-Devil’s, and the guy went into even more pain as his skin tried to turn back into human and his LOKI incinerated on his arm.
“A guard will direct you to your destination with one of these,” the Hitler-Devil went on to show his remote as if nothing had happened. “They will teleport you somewhere in a district. Good-bye.”
A guard near me pushed a button, and I blacked out.
