*Lemmy's POV*
I awoke. Calling her, my mother.
I had this feeling as if I had just drowned. My chest hurt so bad. I shot up instantly, well I tried to. The pain wouldn't allow me.
I lay back down fully before looking around at my surroundings.
Unfamiliar.
Then I remembered yesterday. The crash. The deaths. My mother. The man.
He promised to keep me safe so where was I now?
It looked like a hospital but not exactly like one, more like a dorm. Where was I? Did someone kidnap me?
I stood there processing everything that had happened.
I was alone with no one I would ever recognize or trust.
A knock came in my door. I stayed quiet. I had no voice... nothing to say. He walked in..the man that had saved me yesterday. He half-heartedly smiled at me. I just stared.
"Hello my name is Samuel, but you can call me Sam. I was the person whom your parents were going to bring you to." He said sternly.
"Oh and im so sorr-"
I interrupted.
"Don't say you're sorry you had nothing to do with it sir. You have nothing to apologize for. Please don't bring it up ever I beg of you"
I said trying so hard to keep all emotions in place by keeping a straight face. When truly I was breaking and dying inside. He looked at me waiting for me to cry or show any kind of sadness, for me to react.
"Don't show any sympathy either I don't need you to make me feel worthless or any less than any other."
I turned to the window where sunlight was barely coming in, meaning it was early dawn.
"Okay then" he scratched the back of his head.
I smirked, he was nervous I intimidated him.
My mother always had showed me how to know the actions of those whom were intimidated or nervous.
The pain hit me then, realizing she was really gone but I held my posture. The pain of realizing that she was really gone was much more painful than the pain of my broken ribs.
My existence had killed her. My fault.
"So what your mother really signed-"I flinched.
He looked at me precautiously. I nodded for him to go on.
"You're in combat camp where we will teach you everything you need to know" he made hand gestures.
"When do I start?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"As soon as you recover" he said simply.
He then lay down an all black combat pants, black shirt, pendant with my name, and some all black lace up boots.
I nodded and thanked him before he left to fetch me my medication and food. I waited patiently.
When he came back he came with a tray full of food and some pills with water. Which I guessed were pain killers. "Are you hungry?" He asked eyeing me. "Yes thank you" I said before stuffing my mouth. He laughed as he left me to eat.
Before I knew it I had finished everything and was so full I felt as if my stomach would explode.
A knock came to my door just as sam walked in again. "Well the doctors said that you would recover fully by next week" he grabbed my tray.
"I guess that's good I wouldn't want to skip out on so much training would I?" I said. He agreed.
"Yes but by mid week you will have to start walking around more to recover faster, and get to know the institute."
I agreed by nodding "I will be ready by then sir, I won't disapoint you."
With that he smiled "I'm sure you won't you're the strongest girl I have ever met" and with that he left. I smiled faintly.
I was strong.
