I ran down the ally way far away from the cops that had been hunting me down for weeks.

Now that I'm bionic they were trying to ship me off to the government and It was all Kane's fault. He and my mother had a fling seventeen years ago. On my eighteenth birthday he got a man named Douglas to put a stupid chip in my neck and I've been on the run every since.

Seeming as though she now had ties to Douglas she might as well use it to her advantage.

A man answered the door he look to be in his 20's he had the cutest hazel eyes. "And who might you be,"he smiled. "Uh I-I'm Alexis I'm here to see Mr. Davenport."

"Uh I-I'm Alexis I'm here to see Mr. Davenport."

"Oh come in," Chase said keeping my guard up she is a stranger after all,"Davenport," he yelled.

"Dammit Chase what is it,"Davenport said.

"Davenport you have a guest."

"Hi,"Alexis said to Mr.Davenport.

"Alexis what happen, how are you ,why are you here", Davenport said.

"Okay hold the hell on now I don't know Alexis,"Chase was confused.

"She's Kane's daughter,"Davenport explain absent mindly. "How long have you know about her."

"Since she was born."

"Why didn't you tell us,"Chase was growing impatient. "Because it was none of your business besides she wasn't born bionic."

"Who made her chip Davenport." At that he ignore Chase. "Who made her bionic chip,"Chase growled low in his throat.

"Douglas did,"Davenport sighed. Chase just laughed crossing his arms. "That bastard just keeps finding a way back into our lives doesn't he."

"Chase we have more important things to worry about," Davenport grabbed a blanket from the couch draping it over Alexis's shoulder.
