Helix didn't feel like eatting today, or the day before, or the day before that.So he sat on his bed waiting on Charlie like any other day.
But today, she didn't feel like eatting either.
So she sat on her bed staring at the mop of curls infront of her. In a different hoodie from yesterday, and his ocean eyes.
He stared at the multi colored socks she wore, black, green, and purple lines rounded the main color white.
He liked them.
"Charlie?" He whispered, still looking at her socks.
Her eyes shot down to his, then back to his hair.
"Yeah?"
"I like your socks."
Her lips lifted into a small smile, "My Nana got them for me."
"Nana?" He asked. She never really talked about her real family.
She shook her head, "Yeah, for my 13th birthday. She came to the home I was staying at, at the time."
He was confused now. Why couldn't her Nana have taken her?
Before he could ask, she answered the question.
"If you're wondering why she couldn't take me, it was because she couldn't have taken care of me. She didn't have enough money."
Understanding now, he shook his head. "Well, I have something for you also."
Her eyes went wide, a full blown smile crossed her face. "You do?!"
He smiled seeing her smile, "Yes.
Jumping up from his bed walking to his dresser, he grabbed a box off the top.
Handing it to Charlie, she quickly took it. Looking at it.
He watched her.
Opening the box, a bracelet was on the inside. A blue bracelet.
She looked up at him with a even bigger smile.
"I noticed that you like the color blue," He told her.
