She sat in her bed later that day, like always.Across from her was where Helix usally was, like always.
Even though he tripped over his words like a mad man, she loved talking to him. He loved it too.
She couldn't leave the only person she could have a normal conversation with. Someone she could talk to.
She felt drawn to him. Wanting to figure out everything about his mysterious self.
It soothed her, talking to him. Just like it did him.
Helix was missing all day, when she woke up he was gone.
It was weird, ve- the door opened.
Her gaze snapped from the ceiling to see Helix walking in.
He looked over at her, his hair in his face like always.
He gave her a small smile. She returned it.
His eyes where a bright shade of blue today.
