Michael was at work the next day, watching the customers go in and out. he was happy to see so many puppies and kitties getting adopted.
"um, sir, c-can you help me pick a k-kitten?" a little boy was peaking his head over the counter, barely being able to see on it. "of course! the kittens are my favorite. what's your name, little guy?"
"p-parker." the little boy smiled, blushing.
the two walked back to the kittens and the the kitties were meowing their heads off saying, "adopt me! adopt me!"
"so are you between a few kitties or you know which one you want?" "be-between a few." Parker pointed to a tabby, a calico, and a black kitten.
Michael set the kittens in a pin and told Parker to get in it too. "maybe if you play with them a little you can decide a little better." Michael told Parker starting to walk away. "w-wait!" Parker blushed, "stay wif m-me?" Michael smiled, "of course."
there was more than one person working so it was okay for Michael to get in the pin with Parker.
"you liking one more than the others?" Michael asked Parker. "noooo! wants them all!" Michael laughed and shook his head. "you can only have bud, unless you can convince your parents to let you have them." Parker's eyes lit up.
"that's bestest idea I ever hear!" Parker ran to Michael in the small little space they had and hugged Michael, pulling his beanie a little as he did. Michael gasped from being shocked and from feeling one of his ears pop out.
he quickly fixed his beanie while hugging Parker back. "let's go find your parents, huh, bud?" Parker nodded and let Michael carry him to his parents.
Michael hoped that no one saw his ear pop but of course a certain someone did, and took a picture too.
