I squinted my eyes as I rolled over in queen sized bed I shared with my boyfriend. Out of habit, I grabbed my phone off of the bedside table and saw that I had a trillion messages from Jack. As I went through them I noticed they were all about a party tonight.
"Did you get Jack's messages?" I heard Michael ask as he walked in and sat on the bed, handing me a cup of coffee.
"Yeah...is there seriously another party tonight?"
"Of course, it's game day." Michael looked at me like I was stupid.
I sighed and tossed my phone to the side as I got out of bed.
"Okay well I have class today and so do you, let's get ready." I said, kissing him on the cheek as we made our way into the bathroom.

After parting ways with Michael as he made his way into the biology building for his marine biology class, I met up with Luke.
"Hey Lex, ready for government?" Luke said as we walked to class.
"Always." I said, grinning from ear to ear. When it came to law, I was always hype.
When we got to class and got situated in our seats, I checked my phone. Jack was blowing up my phone with messages about tonight's party. I leaned over to Luke to mention the harassment.
"Have you seen Jack's messages?" I asked, slightly annoyed.
"Oh yeah, and Michael's too." He said, turning his phone on silent in preparation for class.
"What?" I asked, confused about what Michael could be texting Luke about.
"Michael's the one hosting the party tonight." Luke said, looking at me, slightly scared. "Their frat house is a huge mess so Michael offered to throw the party at your apartment."
Before I could unfairly rip Luke's head off, the professor walked in and began class.

After Lex dropped me off at class, I ran back to the apartment to prepare for the party tonight. I knew Lex would be hella pissed that I didn't tell her about the party, but there was gonna be a margarita machine so I knew she wouldn't be mad for long. I started a group chat with Hannah and Jack, inviting them over to help me clean up and prepare for the party. Once I made it back to the apartment, both of them were already there.
"Sup my dude?" Jack said, his arm wrapped around Hannah.
"Just low key stressed about tonight, ya know Lex killing me for lying to her." I said as I unlock the apartment door.
Hannah laughed, "I can't believe you didn't tell her."
I smiled with a guilty expression as I looked around for things for the party. I guess Hannah sensed my lack of preparation.
"Did you not buy any supplies?" She said with a judgey tone, making Jack laugh.
"I bought a margarita machine."
"Bought?" Jack questioned, looking at me like I was crazy.
"Yeah, bought. Lex freaking loves margaritas and they're dope as hell so..." I trailed off when I realized how done the couple was with me.
"Okay, I'm calling Kellie and Calum. We definitely need a lot more help if this party is going to be at all successful" Hannah said, pulling her phone out and calling Calum.
