I don't think there are any of us left except for myself. I still kept my name, But since when I was an akatsuki most did not know me for I went by a different name then. I think the only one to recognize me would be that brat, Naruto Uzumaki. I didn't care though the brat hadn't been around for a awhile last I saw him. I was sure to run into him though since I know took up residence in Konaha. Oh if you don't remember me then the name is Atsushi. I don't go by the 'Of the Snow' anymore considering it what attract to much attention. Well anyways how about we skip to the present day shall we?
"Makiyo no Ran!” I shout as I use a genjutsu on one of my students, They where trying to get two bells to supposedly pass a test I had given them.
I know what your thinking, Weren't you an Akatsuki member? Yes, Yes I was. Though that was a long time ago almost 4 years have passed, I came to the village hidden in the leaves and become a jounin and a mentor. I told no one about my past only that I was a very skilled ninja from The land of Snow. Anyways back to the test. I watch as Akio watches as I use my genjutsu, Which was practically harmless, On my his teammate, Chie, But smile to myself as my other student who was a prodigy to his family and clan, Like his father and uncle before him.Kuya Uchia, That's right Saskue Uchia's son. He was more like his mother more willing to help others and not go alone, I watch as him and akio charge me. I pay attention now as they attack me and release my genjutsu on Chie as I fight them off and then smile as the boys get a bell
" You pass, All of you. The lesson here was teamwork. if you didn't notice. Now go eat you three. " I watch them as the all simultaneously say" Hai, Atsushi Sensei!"I watch them run off and sigh as I then of my life back in the Akatsuki.
---FlashBack---
" Lord Pein!" I call looking around the tunnels for him, I was frantic. I didn't know why was I being put under a Genjutsu?
I wasn't sure. I go to the main chamber and watch as Lord Pein and Naruto battle it out. Then as soon as it begin it was over. I see Lord Pein on the floor in a pool of his blood, He was whispering something to naruto, I couldn't hear what he was saying. I then watch Naruto nod and then dissappear, I didn't know where to though. I rush over to my Lord and kneel next him.
He looks up at me and gives me a ghost of a smile and whispers" Make something of your life Atsushi. Don't pursue the way of the Akatsuki any longer." He then slowly closes his eyes, Never to awaken again.
I was shell shocked as I look at one of the people who rarely ever showed me kindness. I say a prayer silently before getting up and teleporting from the scene as naruto's friends appear to help him kill off the rest of the akatsuki. I hear some of their fearful screams as my friends die. I keep quiet and leave the akatsuki life behind me.

The memory sent shivers down my spine and I quietly erase it from my mind, Just temporaily anyways. I play the words pver and over in my head thought. "Make something of your life Atsushi. Don't pursue the way of the Akatsuki any longer."
