Julie's Dragon: A new discovery

I didn't notice him the first time i got here. The dragon is Pale colored with blue eyes. Efren told me he is called an Abominable Sefre another kind of Dragon. He can breathe cold snow instead of fire, amazing! He said his name is Yeagroff and he's 128 years old in dragon years, still young. This kind normally lives in the snow but when their kind got attacked he was given to him by his friend and told him to take care of him. It's really sad being separated from their parents, that is what i feel right now, i miss my mother especially my father.

I sat on a rock and brought out my book and quill, good thing it's already dry. I wrote some stuff about this island, about my discoveries, about stuff Efren told me. I saw Yeagroff just beside me looking at my book, confused. "What are you doing?" he asked me, looking away. I told him i was writing some information about this island, i guess we can get along.

We asked Efren if we can go play together. I got a little tired so we sat down the grass near the river. I feel so happy that i get to meet Yeagroff. Oh right! I almost forgot about the key. I showed that key to Yeagroff to ask him if he knows it but then he started to change. I got near him to help but he scratched my arm and pushed me back with full force. What happened to him?! He is so willing to kill me and he kept on repeating the word "Sedknomes". What on Earth is he talking about. He gained back to his normal self again in an instant, good thing. I wonder why that happened.

He told me that's a name dragons used to call monsters, heartless monsters who used loud and strong weapons to dispose of their kind without a second thought. They killed every single kind, even the leaders. Their too strong, dragons were no match for them. They took the piece that every leader of dragons have and hid it in a chest and buried it underground. This key is used to unlock it but he doesn't really know where the chest is placed. Whenever he sees this key it reminds him of the tragic past. We got back in the cave.

The sun had set already. I grabbed some kiplon leaves and tied it with a piece of cloth and placed it on the scratch to lessen the pain. After awhile I fell asleep. I heard someone calling my name, waking me up. It was dad! But he was acting strange. He walked away but i followed him silently, i don't want to disturb Yeagroff and Efren. He was going in a tunnel filled with bones and crawling worms and insects. It was all icky in here. There was leaking blood on the ceiling. I followed him till the end then i saw a black, swirling portal. It absorbs almost anything. I stopped him from going but he refused. "Come with me Julie" as he held his hand offering me to come. I turned away but he suddenly grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the portal. He kept on repeating my name over and over again. Then i suddenly woke up, hearing Efren calling me. It was all a dream!

"are you alright?" he touched my forehead to see if something is wrong. What happened? Efren told me I was mumbling in fear while i was asleep! Unusual but i don't want anymore nightmares to come. I continued to sleep but this time it was nightmare-free, good thing. It was morning. I ate Mint-Rose fruit on my way to the pond, this is really delicious. I washed my face on the pond and headed back. "Good morning!" I greeted everyone with a smile.

Efren and Yeagroff went out to search for food while i'm back here. I was getting a little bored of waiting. I went in the cave to get my back then i saw something. A rock was placed beside the wall then a little hole was seen, i guess something is behind this thing. I pushed the rosk aside and a passage opened. It was dark but i walked right in, not knowing where i was going. "What are you doing Julie?" I asked myself. Moments later i went even further into the passage then i fell down! It was a deep hole then i ended on an underground room.

It was filled with antiques and quite familiar stuff actually like this liitle ol' vase here i used to see this on my father's desk. Wait a minute this is the actual vase! How did this get here. There was a letter lying on the ground, it says:

"Dear Adlean,

I cannot make it tomorrow the captain extended 3 more weeks of work but i promise i'll make it up to you. How is Julie? I'm sure she's alright with you, tell me what's new. Remember, whatever happens I love you take care of her while i'm gone.

Wait what!? Thi-this is impossible, maybe i'm over thinking it too much but this is the exact name of my mother and father and it is his handwriting. Maybe he was supposed to send this to us before the wreck happened. But Efren couldn't possibly....caused the accident. "What are you doing here?" Efren just appeared behind me. "This letter why do you have it?" I pointed the letter but he stammered that he doesn't know such thing. "Give me that right now" he said, but i refused not unless he tells me why.

He told me a story about the past.....
"Down here in this very same place a critter went by getting food to eat but turns out it was no critter at all, it was just a man, a man named Elfred Lodwick. He was a good man of good stories just like you, he was really adventurous but then the Sedknomes attacked and he kept the leaders' piece in a chest for safe keeping and left a key somewhere but i noticed you have it, he, Yeagroff and i are the only survivors. He told me that he can possess a dragon permanently I didn't wan't that at first but there was this big problem, I was about to die my body became weaker and weaker but he told me he could possess my body so i could live again and so he did. Now i'm got his mind, his heart and his memory so that means, i'm alive Julie it's me."
