(A/n: in most redney stuff I have read it seems like Barney is the more manly so in this oneshot he is going to be I don't know how to put this none manly, and also I am not going to write in Barney's accent cuz I've seen "the real me" video. Okay read on!!!!)
Red P.O.V
It was a very rainy night. A storm was going on outside but I didn't pay much mind because
I was not afraid of storms. But suddenly I heard a slight whimpering coming from Barney's room
I quickly rushed over, afraid for barney's safety
Barney P.O.V
I was afraid of thunder storms. I didn't like to tell people because I found it embarrassing.
Because I was a grown man after all. As I heard a loud crash of thunder I whimpered and tears slowly started to fall down my face. I guess I must have whimpered too loudly because then I heard red's footsteps dashing across the floor to my room. I didn't want Red to see me like this so I quickly turned my head to face my window. As red burst in he asked.
"Barney are you okay?"
Third person P.O.V
"Barney are you okay?" The red head asked his boyfriend
The brunette tried to act as if he hadn't been crying so he said
"I-I'm fine." He mentally face palmed for stuttering
"No you're not, I heard you whimper what's wrong my little Dino?"
"P-promise you won't tell anyone?" Barney asked as Red nodded his head yes
"I'm afraid of storms, they are just so loud." And as if just on point another loud thunder crashed making Barney slowly start to cry.
"No no no don't cry Dino would you like to sleep with me?" Red asked
"O-okay.." Barney said as he grabbed is pillow and trudged over to Red's room with Red following close behind.
Barney quickly slid into the covers of Red's small bed, feeling Red's warm body up against him
