A girl walked heavily through the snow, like she did many times before. As she neared fog, she could see a figure in the distance. It was the skeleton.

The tall, annoying skeleton. The girl had a creepy grin on her face as she approached the skeleton swiftly, and silently.

Crack!

The girl had stepped on a twig. The skeleton turned around. "OH! HI HUMA-" He was cut off, as there was a sharp knife jabbed in his chest.

"WELL, THAT WASN'T WHAT I WAS EXPECTING." He said. The girl watched as he disappeared into dust. Still having that grin, she began to walk again. Stepping on the scarf that was left behind, she began her journey.

Killing everything in her path. Killing everyone, everywhere.

" Y / N , Y o u r b e t t e r t h a n t h i s. S t o p. "

She told herself.

And yet, she still continued. This wasn't supposed to happen.

She slashed through an Ice Cap. A certain small skeleton watched her movements. Shaking his head, he disappeared. Y/n grinned, knowing he was there.

She killed the Lesser Dog, Doggo, Dogamy, Doggressa, and Greater Dog.

Why was she doing this. Curiosity? No. Maybe... It was her choice. Sans hadn't appeared. Which Y/n found rather, interesting.
Who knew slaughtering every single monster in an area could change the whole progress of the game.

Wait, what game? This is reality. Resets don't exist. Wait, how do you know that?

Perhaps this was a game after all, but... The reset button is gone. How do you even know the reset button exists?

She killed another monster. By now, her weapon, hands and face were covered in a grey, dull dust.

Laughing a bit, she progressed. Reaching Snowdin, she realized everything was quiet, just how it should be.

Wait, "Just how it should be"?
How do you know that?

She stopped, feeling weird. Like, everything was off. Something was wrong.

But what?

She couldn't figure out. Her mind didn't share any thoughts. She couldn't think anything.

"Why are you stopping? You need to go." She told herself. But, she felt like she needed to remember something.

...

What are timelines? Friends? Enemies? Or, what's a reset button?

Y/n groaned frustratedly. Her memory was scrambled. Who were your friends. Did you even have friends? Did you even have a life before?

Perhaps not, why would you be reading this story in the first place?

Wait, this is a story?

Isn't this a game?

Wait, this is reality!

Then who am I talking to?
