another Harry Potter theory from yours truly.

what if neville was a representation of what peter pettigrew could've been. both of them would've been the weakest and the shyest in the group, easily influenced. what if rowling made neville weak to prove that it could go either way, good or bad. this can actually go along with a few other characters.
